It got there when the 47-year-old was on holiday in Peru and was bitten through his shirt by an insect as he walked alongside the River Amazon. The bug was carrying a tiny South American botfly larva which immediately burrowed beneath Kevin’s skin. But he did not have a clue it was there . ....
