Store Owner Killed In Covington An attempted robbery has ended with the death of a Covington convenience store owner. Police were called to the Madison Mart on Madison Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the store's owner Haithan Asad, 40, dead. Police are interviewing witnesses, but so far no arrests have been made.

Teen Found Dead In Walnut Hills Street Police have identified the person found shot to death in Walnut Hills early Tuesday morning. Simon Harris, 16, was lying in the street at Lincoln and Park Avenues near Martin Luther King Drive. Another shooting victim was taken to University Hospital around the same time, but it's unclear how the shootings are related. No arrests have been made.
