Teen Found Dead In Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, Ohio) Street

Teen Found Dead In Walnut Hills Street

Police have identified the person found shot to death in Walnut Hills early Tuesday morning.

Simon Harris, 16, was lying in the street at Lincoln and Park Avenues near Martin Luther King Drive.

Another shooting victim was taken to University Hospital around the same time, but it's unclear how the shootings are related.

No arrests have been made.

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

On March 21, 2006, at 4:03 a.m., District Four officers responded to the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Park Avenue for a report of a person down. Upon arrival, District Four units located a black male with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Simon Harris, black male, 16 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is ongoing.

Jessh. Both my parents graduated from Walnut Hills High School, back when it was the best high school in the city.

I was once upon a time. It's still the best city school, but a number of Catholic & suburban schools are better now.
