Senate Democrats on Sunday passed Joe Biden’s massive tax-and-spend bill dubbed the ‘Inflation Reduction Act.’ The bill was passed in a 51-50 party-line vote after a 2-day vote-a-rama. Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote. More than 230 economists wrote letters to Congress warning that the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ will make inflation worse. Fox Business reported:

Virginia Senate leaders unveiled a plan Friday to raise an additional $4 billion to transportation. The plan proposes phasing-in a raise of the sales tax on automobiles from three percent to five percent. That's the same sales tax for other purchases. And, it would phase out the sales tax exemption on gasoline over four years. Governor Tim Kaine announces his transportation plan this afternoon.
