According to a new poll, only 25 percent of Americans said they support President Joe Biden's handling of the situation in Afghanistan, while a vast percent disapproved. Released by NBC News Sunday, the poll was conducted from August 14 to 17, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent. Of the one thousand U.S. adults interviewed for the survey, 60 percent of individuals said they disapproved of the president's actions when it came to withdrawing troops from Afghanistan after two decades of conflict. A New York Times report published Friday featured several allegations that Sen. Amy Klobuchar had mistreated her staff, including an eyebrow-raising anecdote that started the piece: Klobuchar, a 2020 presidential candidate, once used a comb from her bag to eat a salad after her aide forgot a fork—and afterward handed the used comb to the staff member and told him to clean it.
