Return to prosperity. Throw every single Democrat out of office.

Jim nuked this poster, but I decided to put this thread back up for illustrative purposes as to just how patient (and deranged) some of our political opponents are.

It's also sickening how obvious some people's biases are. It seems that anytime someone reports something that even remotely casts Israelis in a less-than-favourable light, they immediately branded as anti-Semitic. It must be nice to always use the same retort to try to shut everyone up.

I know I am not welcome hear among King George's sycophants, but some things need to be told. George always wanted war. Now George has the war he always wanted. Enjoy these last special moments because the world will be never be the same again. There will now be a clash of culture, a clash of civilization, with so many innocent lives lost. Who would have thought a know-nothing, incompetent, with no achievements except what his family name garnered would have gotten the chance to plunge the world such danger, into darkness? Now, he gets the chance to lead the...

Ban me, but have the courage to accept the truth. This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died. Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power. I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs. There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to: A) plunder its resouces B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy. THIS WAR IS WRONG.

If we were going to make up crap like this, we would have done it day one.

President Bush is fond of cowboy imagery, so here's an image that comes to mind about our pending war with Iraq. In most cowboy movies the good guys round up a posse before they ride into town and take on the black hats. We're doing just the opposite. We're riding into Baghdad pretty much alone and hoping to round up a posse after we get there. I hope we do, because it may be the only way we can get out with ourselves, and the town, in one piece. This column has argued throughout this debate that removing Saddam Hussein...

Bill Clinton could talk good and bush likes to kill people like Paul Wellstone.

Clinton likes black people and other people of color. All bush wants to do is bomb them.

How can you support bush?

Here's a question for constitutional scholars: Can a sitting president be charged with plagiarism?

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Thousands rallied Saturday in support of President Bush and U.S. troops in a possible war against Iraq, turning their criticism to anti-war protesters and France's opposition to military force. About 2,000 people turned out at an Orlando rally that featured a reading of the Gettysburg Address, while another 1,000 prayed and marched in Pensacola. "I was so saddened to see so many in our nation not supporting our troops and our country," said Naval Warrant Officer David Wolff, a Desert Storm veteran who arrived at the Pensacola rally in uniform. "This is very uplifting." Rallies were...

We have the War Against Poverty, the War Against Drugs and the War Against Terrorism. Needless to say, we're losing all of them. I say let's make a war that we can win. My proposal? The War Against Stupidity.

Now you might think this would be the most difficult of all wars to win, but as a schoolteacher, I have hope. I'm fortunate to work in a school where the teachers think—they read books, they write poems, essays, songs and stories, they discuss current affairs and even timeless questions. They think about how they think and they think about how to help children to think. And the results are impressive. The children do think and they show promise of growing into adults who will continue to think.

A Canadian sniper up for the Bronze Star medal for his combat role in Afghanistan has been cleared of allegations he desecrated the body of a dead al-Qaeda fighter, the Defence Department said yesterday. Military investigators lacked evidence for charges against Master Corporal Arron Perry and another Canadian, following allegations soldiers cut the finger off an enemy combatant and staged a "trophy" photo of the body. The investigation also examined claims a soldier defecated on a second body. Master Cpl. Perry had been suspended pending the outcome of the probe, but was returned to duty yesterday in Edmonton. "After a...

Most of those who disagree with Neal and Rush are sent into such paroxysms by listening to them that their responses tend toward, "big fat idiot," "billious pig-faced bigot," and the like. Neal and Rush are extremely effective and powerful communicators. They change the way people think. They deserve real criticism. Neal and Rush are guilty of a monstrous sin of omission. They tell a whole lot of truth, and, contrary to the knee-jerk critics, they tell it with a high degree of accuracy. The problem is that they tell selective truths. And, while appealing to the best in people...
