School districts, state agency blamed in molestation case Indiana child welfare officials and school districts in two states had a responsibility to protect children in Lee N. Tibbetts’ classroom, but a series of miscommunications and missteps among those agencies failed to catch a pattern of problematic behavior over three years. That breakdown allowed Tibbetts to remain in the classroom despite multiple accusations, including one that eventually led to the math teacher being arrested on charges alleging he molested a student while teaching for Indianapolis Public Schools. A review by The Indianapolis Star and The Cincinnati Enquirer shows that red flags...

TORONTO—As Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip waved to the crowd after a 2005 visit, a tall, fit officer stood next to them. He saluted the royal couple, and flew them home to Britain. Now that same elite Canadian pilot, Colonel Russell Williams, stands charged with the murder of two women, the sexual assault of two others and 82 break-ins, during which he often stole women's panties.

Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee, opened hearings on the military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy by calling for the repeal of that policy and for gay and lesbian soldiers to be allowed to serve openly. The Lansing State Journal reports: Opening a hearing on the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy on gays in the military, Michigan Democrat and Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin said it’s time to repeal what he considers a discriminatory policy that hurts military effectiveness. “I did not find the arguments used to justify ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ convincing...

I’ve received a lot of e-mail asking why I haven’t written about the controversy over Kevin Jennings, Barack Obama’s “safe schools” czar. To be honest, the story is so shocking that I haven’t quite grasped how to approach it. Jennings ran an outfit called Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) from its inception in 1995 until last year. During that time, as Jim Hoft at Big Government has detailed, GLSEN offered sex education seminars to young teenagers within the framework of public education that went way, way beyond explanations of human biology and disease transmission. According to multiple sources,...

A few years ago, I attempted to alert America as to what can happen if the radicals became entrenched in your body politic. In our case, the Massachusetts legislature created and funded a super commission that would deal with all things gay, lesbian, trans, bi, and that super commission would have power over just about every legislator in the state. Mass Resistance brought to my attention a publication this commission created and was paid for by both taxpayers and Boston's elite. This Little Black Book was handed out to middle and high schoolers in metro Boston. When I told a...

Kevin Jennings has been appointed as director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools under Obama. Here's a bit of his bio: In 1997, according to a transcript put together by Brian J. Burt, managing editor of the student-run Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, Jennings said he hoped that promoting homosexuality in schools would be considered fine in the future. The group Jennings founded has also been accused of promoting homosexuality in schools. At a GLSEN conference in 2000, co-sponsored with the Massachusetts Department of Education, the group landed in hot water when it was revealed...

The New York State Senate held an emotional debate on Wednesday in which there was talk of belief and conscience and eloquent reminders of earlier civil rights struggles. It then took a stand against equality and fairness. By a 38-to-24 vote, lawmakers chose to continue the state’s discrimination against couples who want to get married and simply happen to be the same sex. Like Gov. David Paterson and advocates who pressed for the vote, we had hoped a sufficient number of senators would do the right thing when required to take a stand. In the end, though, not a single...

'Deviant': The Vatican claims vampire flick New Moon, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (pictured), occupies a 'moral vacuum' Monsignor Franco Perazzolo, of the Pontifical Council...

Dressed in a tan cloth coat and crocheted white hat and pulling a wheeled shopping basket behind her, Eve Rojek trudged up and down Castro Street in a sputtering rain the other day. She walked up a stretch of sidewalk between 18th and 19th streets and then down and then back up again. Rojek is an actress, cast as a middle-aged extra in a long-anticipated feature film about the life and death of San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk that began shooting in the city last week. Like everyone and everything in view of the camera, Rojek needed to convey the...

Contact CBS at the following link and demand the resignation of David Letterman: http://www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/show_info/contact_us.php I'd like to know how many of these sex partners of his were forced or coerced into it. This scandal is going to blow wide open and the more CBS tries to cover it up the worse it is going to get. Can anyone say Dan Rather II? I'm thrilled to see karma coming back to bite the deviant after his pontifications about Sanford. But the funniest part is the laughter I hear coming all the way from Wasilla. Lol.

A paedophile ring has been smashed after eight men were found guilty of a horrifying catalogue of more than 50 child pornography and abuse charges.Among the crimes was a shocking sexual attack carried out on a three-month-old baby boy by an executive adviser on child sex issues. Rennie, 38, molested the toddler son of unsuspecting friends - a little boy he had been trusted to babysit - recording the abuse and sharing it with other...

...The problems began last fall when [principal David] Davis, who did not return phone messages from The Associated Press, admonished the senior, who is identified only as "Jane Doe" in court records and whose friends say she doesn't want to talk about the experience. The friends donned gay pride T-shirts and rainbow-colored clothing when they found out how Davis had treated her, and he questioned many of them about their sexuality and association with gay students. Some were suspended. "Davis embarked on what can only be characterized as a 'witch hunt' to identify students who were homosexual and their supporters,...

An Ohio man is in jail for posing as an underwear researcher and examining children. Ken Hawkins is accused of arranging meetings this Spring with parents of at least three children to conduct a marketing research survey involving children's underwear and razors. While at the house of an eight-year-old girl, he instructed her to try on several pair of underwear while he took notes. Hawkins then took several measurements of the victim while she wore only the underwear. Prosecutors said Hawkins also ran his fingers around the waistband and looked at the rear of the panties to check out the...

Maureen Monks, about to become the newest judge of the Middlesex Probate and Family Court, is a long-time radical lesbian activist attorney. She specializes in "gay" family issues. Last week, when her nomination hit some rocky waters getting through the Governor's Council, Governor Deval Patrick simply ignored their official vote and announced he will swear her in. Monks' nomination - and the governor's action -- was strongly supported by both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald on their editorial pages.

FRIENDSWOOD — Police arrested a private school teacher Thursday on charges that she had sex with a 17-year-old student along a deserted road in December. Lewis is a journalism, speech and computer teacher at Living Stones Christian School in Alvin, the school’s Web site said. NEW BEDFORD - A convicted sex offender arrested this week on charges of raping a 6-year-old boy in the public library had been released from prison a year ago, despite the strenuous objections of the district attorney and three psychologists who argued that he posed a serious threat to children. Superior Court Judge Richard Moses denied the prosecutor's motion to keep Corey Saunders in custody indefinitely, arguing that he had a low IQ and had suffered physical and sexual abuse as a child. The judge said Saunders, who was sentenced to four years for the attempted rape of a 7-year-old...
