The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) said it can't provide emails sent between 2009 and 2011 that were requested by congressional investigators because of hard drive crashes. The agency said that emails stored on dead drives were lost forever because its email backup tapes were recycled every six months, and employees were responsible for keeping their own long-term archives. WESLACO - Police arrested a 17-year-old at the Weslaco Border Patrol station after he became violent with other detainees. Border Patrol officials will not speak about the incident. Weslaco police said they had never handled a similar case. Two detainees were victims of the assault. The incident happened Tuesday. The teen was later returned to Border Patrol custody. San Diego police are looking for four people in connection to a deadly attack in the Gaslamp District. In the early morning hours of June 15, 25-year-old Michael Beaver was found unconscious on a sidewalk in the 500 block of F Street. He later died at the hospital. A suicide bomber detonated his car near a police checkpoint in eastern Lebanon on Friday, killing two people, the country's state-run news agency reported. A senior Lebanese security official confirmed the blast in the town of Dahr el-Baidar, at the entrance to eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. The official, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to media, said it was not immediately clear how many people were killed or wounded in the explosion.
