One person is dead and multiple others injured following an early Sunday morning shooting in Democrat-controlled Washington, DC. Fox5 DC reports the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. Sunday during a party. Seventeen-year-old Christopher “Poppy” Brown was fatally wounded during the shooting, and “more than 20 0thers may have been wounded.”

The search is over for WMW Capture #1166, 35-year-old suspect, Cody P. Hansen. Spokane Police received an anonymous tip Friday evening of Hansen's whereabouts at a local residence. Police arrested him Saturday morning at the address given to police, where his car was also found. Hansen was transported and booked into the Spokane County jail as he waits to be transferred to King County, Spokane Police said. Tim Walz on Friday announced he is appealing the federal government's decision to deny a major disaster declaration to help Minnesota rebuild from the rioting that broke out after George Floyd's death in police custody.
