TORONTO detectives didn't have to travel far to arrest a man who allegedly drove away after running over a man who had jumped off a bridge onto the DVP. Officers arrested and charged a civilian member of the Toronto Police Service with failing to stop after the Jan. 29 accident, traffic services Det. Wally Watts said yesterday. The suspect is a 10-year veteran of the Toronto police service who works as a computer programmer in information technology services/computer operations at police headquarters.
