Former New York Jets safety Burgess Owens recently slammed the NFL for looking to implement “affirmative action for a Marxist,” by encouraging teams to sign Colin Kaepernick. As a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick prominently started protesting against the country during the playing of the national anthem in 2016 but found himself left unsigned by any NFL team the following year when he turned free agent. Despite not playing since 2017, this year, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has begun saying that the NFL needs to work with Kaepernick to guide the league’s spending on social justice issues. On...

Some Tough Truths About Colin KaepernickThe pampered mobs who have taken over Seattle and portions of other liberal dumpster-fire cities have been flailing about for a leader whom they can crown as King of the #Resistance. The Idiot Dictator in charge of the National Football League and his suddenly woke players seem to want that figurehead to be one of its more spectacular failures, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick hasn’t been in the league for a few years now but the woke mob keeps him in the national conversation. Nike made Kaepernick a constant presence via finger-wagging...

Today, we announce that civil rights activist and athlete Colin Kaepernick will be joining our Board of Directors. In addition to the board seat, Medium will partner with Colin and Kaepernick Publishing to create and feature stories focused on race and civil rights in America, and to elevate emerging voices from communities of color. Colin Kaepernick may get a legitimate shot at a return to the NFL – at least eventually. Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said Wednesday the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who was once a play away from winning a Super Bowl, is on the team’s “workout list.” According to multiple reports, Lynn said that Kaepernick fits what he wants the offense to do but clarified that the team has “no plans” to work him out just yet and is happy with who he has now at quarterback.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday that he hopes former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will help "guide" the league on issues pertaining to social justice. The commissioner also said during the interview with ESPN's Mike Greenberg that he would "support" and "encourage" a team signing the controversial signal caller to its roster. Kaepernick has not played in the league since 2016 when he was released by the 49ers following the season after losing his starting job to Blaine Gabbert. During that same season, he ignited controversy by kneeling during the national anthem at the start of games to...

A comeback for Colin Kaepernick … or CYA from the NFL? “We should have listened to our players earlier,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told ESPN’s Mike Greenberg last night, perhaps especially the one that made the biggest splash. In the most direct comments on the years-long standoff between the league and its most high-profile exile, Goodell held out an olive branch, offering him a “role” in the league’s new efforts on social justice, but he also “encourage[s]” teams to consider signing Kaepernick to a contract. That would certainly make the NFL and Goodell look better with a significant segment of...

June 12 (UPI) — At least one NFL team is interested in signing free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters Thursday that another team called him to ask for information about the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback. Carroll did not disclose the team’s name. “I know somebody’s interested, and we’ll see what happens with that,” Carroll said. “I thought the irony of that was crazy, because I knew I was coming on this press conference and [reporters] were going to ask me a million questions about this.”

Piers Morgan challenged President Donald Trump in an open letter published to the Daily Mail to show his solidarity with protesters by publicly taking a knee. # Speaking of NFL player Colin Kaepernick’s now-infamous 2016 demonstration, Morgan cited it as evidence that Trump has been wrong from the beginning. “The cold hard truth for the President is that Kaepernick’s been shown by George Floyd’s murder to be on the right side of history,” Morgan wrote, “and Trump’s increasingly showing himself to be on the wrong side.” There are indications that the POTUS is planning to make some sort of concrete...

Here I am a drunk, a sinner, a hater, a racist currently sober and yes the first description of myself leads all the rest. Its no secret what I believe as I've made clear in countless posts but intoxication is the big issue. Drugs, Alcohol And Pornography lay behind the evil violence that kills and destroys and hurts people and property and politicians can't preach that to people. They'll get no votes in this election year for saying that so we get the urinated pablum about "systematic racism" and "white privilege" and the list goes on. Some Philadelphia music in...

With the George Floyd protests and riots, feelings and emotions have inevitably diverged with statistical fact more than ever. The narrative is rammed down our throats at a rapid rate, while the statistical data is inevitably more complex and requires part of an afternoon to digest. In the age of high-octane social media, part of an afternoon is no longer on the table. So as this battle over Floyd is fought — although in reality, it’s a unanimous agreement, not a battle at all — the sub-battles of the culture war ensue. One of these battles is our great national...

Things are happening quickly, and you surely have questions. Is kneeling during the national anthem OK now? Does Colin Kaepernick have a chance to get back in? What role do politics play in all of this? Let's try and bring it all together. Twitter is not letting the battle of ideas proceed without tipping the scale towards liberals. First, they put a warning label on President Trump’s Tweet about mail-in ballots leading to vote fraud. In its counterclaim, Twitter erroneously asserted, “Trump falsely claimed that mail-in ballots would lead to ‘a Rigged Election’ . . . there is no evidence that mail-in ballots are linked to voter fraud.” But Twitter wasn’t done. Last Thursday, when Trump tweeted about the riots in Minneapolis, Twitter took down his Tweet on the basis that it was “glorifying violence.” Few people actually got to read it, but...

Sunday on CNN’s “Situation Room,” former Obama administration National Security Adviser Susan Rice said the violence during the protests over the death of George Floyd was in part because President Donald Trump demonized peaceful protests, including former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the National Anthem.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN—Colin Kaepernick arrived at the Minneapolis riots last night, saying he was excited to be a part of the looting and violence. Kaepernick tried out for the riots by throwing bricks into windows but missed every time. He was able to rush a Molotov cocktail into a target window and then spike it on the ground, but then he caught fire. Finally, in a last-ditch effort to get selected for one of the riot squads, he filmed a workout video and sent it to various protester organizations but hadn't heard back as of publishing time. "While we appreciate Kaepernick's...

It was only a matter of time before Colin Kaepernick got involved in the fight against coronavirus, and now we know exactly what the activist, philanthropist and former football star is planning to do.
