Thanks for the tips on the reading. I will look up both Kant and Aristotle to study more.
It seems self governing is not innate though. Right and wrong is learned. Just like fear is learned. Since we are born without fear or knowing whats right and wrong. We have to weigh the balance, but against what.
If I was the first man on earth, how would I know. If another person walked up and I was hungry, I would kill the other to eat. I have a reason to kill. Is it wrong? If I just killed the other to eliminate competition is that wrong?
1) Do the troops on the ground pay more taxes than millionaires?
2) Is Edwards saying they value wealth and work, or just work?
If just work, then I guess all his hard work that led him to be wealthy was all wrong. If they don't value wealth as a reward for hard work then that thought will drive this country into the ground. And they want to lead America here and in the world. Scary!!!
For some reason that statement to me has a socialistic ring to it.

You know that is a good point. Quoting others in a senate hearing. And when on 60 Minuntes saying he also did the same thing. Just shows you the amount of integrity he has. NONE.
He can't even stand with his peers and admit he did wrong with them.
