I purchased a decent network laser printe earlier this year and it’s been great. . It’s been great. Now we have grandkids and I learn that inkjet printers do a much better job of printing pictures. So I am looking for recommendations for network inkjet photo printers. My last one sucked (10 years ago) ate ink and never operated well. I figured there were some ameture photography people that could recommend a good network printer for pictures. The laser will handle everything else. One that works with apple/MS os would be great. Anyone have a good recommendation that doesn’t just...

This is an entire series about the wishbone offense, creation, adoption and I assume it’s demise as I am still watching the series. Each is a boy 20 minutes long. I never played sports growing up. Both my sons have state championships in a sport at different ages. Mainly because I believed athletic competition was as important as other things. I might say that was wrong now but was right at the time. Anyway, this was a great but low volume series on the college wishbone offense and I found it informative and entertaining. I have no OCI with this...

Masses of people gathered coast-to-coast Friday night to have a whinge about Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal. The 17-year-old defended himself from a mob attacking and trying to kill him. One of those attackers was 36-year-old, Joseph Rosenbaum. Many at the protests were holding signs honoring convicted kidnapper Anthony Huber and child rapist Joseph Rosenbaum. We’ll get to Anthony Huber and Gaig Grosstwit in other articles. For now, let’s talk about Joseph Rosenbaum. The Child rapist that as Tucker Carlson brilliantly put it ‘died as he lived, chasing down a child.’ Well, for those on social media honoring Joseph Rosenbaum, you not...

MONTGOMERY – Governor Kay Ivey on Monday signed Executive Order 724 to fight the overreaching covid-19 vaccine mandates from the federal government. In doing so, Governor Ivey released the following statement: “The federal government’s outrageous overreach has simply given us no other option, but to begin taking action, which is why I am issuing this executive order to fight these egregious covid-19 vaccine mandates. Alabamians – and Americans alike – should and must have the choice to roll up their sleeves to get this shot and certainly not forced by government. While President Biden laughs at the idea of protecting...

Gun owners would be able to buy lifetime permits but sheriffs will rerun background checks at least every five years. T The Alabama House of Representatives on Thursday passed a gun bill that would authorize Alabama sheriffs to sell lifetime concealed carry permits, standardize the permitting process statewide and create a state-managed database of Alabamians who are prohibited from possessing firearms. Senate Bill 308 is sponsored by state Senator Randy Price, R-Opelika, and was carried in the House by state Rep. Proncey Robertson, R-Mount Hope. “This is a very important piece of legislation,” Robertson told reporters following passage of the...

(To see the wording of the amendments as they will appear on their ballot, scroll to the bottom of the article. Amendment 1 says that “only” citizens of the United States have a right to vote in Alabama, providing...

Vanity - hope ir shows up as such. Anyone have serious experience in silver investments, physical possession? Specially American Eagles due to easy recognition and perceived value. All value is perception. How much over spot? Valid premise? Alternatives(not gold please). .... I am ignorant but 15% to more over spot seems excessive. Looking at monster boxes but it smells funny but again it could be smelling my own ignorance. Searches are mostly hitting sale adds. Any thoughts appreciated. Admins - if I posted this wrong please delete. Don’t need tp be banned for ignorance. I can be taught.

Eat some Grits, then donate 5 or 10 dollars to get this one FR donation cycle put to bed. Just to be clear - Florida is part of the south. So don’t be a putz. Go Gators! Florida Gators are special to me and honestly, I think Miami got a good man as head coach. During 2019, I want to take over a future FR fundraiser...

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities say 474 people have been arrested in a multiday sting operation focused on human trafficking in California. Investigators say as part of the sting, undercover officers posed as prostitutes on street corners and also posted advertisements online. Officials say three dozen people were arrested on suspicion of being pimps. They say officers also rescued 28 children who were being sexually exploited and offered services to 27 adults they said were...
  • How a history of eating human brains protected this tribe from brain disease

The sickness spread at funerals. The Fore people, a once-isolated tribe in eastern Papua New Guinea, had a long-standing tradition of mortuary feasts — eating the dead from their own community at funerals. Men consumed the flesh of their deceased relatives, while women and children ate the brain. It was an expression of respect for the lost loved ones, but the practice wreaked havoc on the communities they left behind. That’s because a deadly molecule that lives in brains was spreading to the women who ate them, causing a horrible degenerative illness called “kuru” that at one point killed 2...

Chief Larry Muncey told a small press conference in Madison that he also recommended that Parker be fired for his use of force against a man who committed no crime, did not speak English and could not understand the commands.
