But, there is another story that is quite profound.
You know that anyone related to that tiny, remote village would always have strong ties to it.
Donald’s mother immigrated in 1930, and was deeply religious.
She would have been informed on the amazing “Revival on the Isle of Lewis.” in 1945. She certainly would have passed this story on to Donald.
If you do a search on that title you’ll hear “How a tiny island could shape a President.”
It will give you entirely different perspective on the article posted.

So, brave men go to war, put their lives on the line to defend empty homes...the women have go to war, their children lay dead on the PP floor, and Moslems govern the country. Sounds like a deal to me.

Listen to their full speeches. And then decide....

Here in eastern NM we were in a 5 year drought that was drying up everything. Scary to see dusty soil where there should have been prairie grasses. No one was running cattle. The reservoir, and water sources drying up.
Like you, the water rights had been sold to a distant community a long time ago. So foolish!

I'm surprised the Goat Doctor of Milford, Ks. was'nt included on the list. He was transplanting goat scrotum's for men who wanted to be vigorous again. Early 1900’s, I think.

I googled your question a year ago. I found a site that takes you through the steps. It required changing my FB identity, then selecting “delete.” It will tell you to stay out of FB until you are notified cancelling FB is successful.Process took about two weeks. I only include these steps so you can see getting off FB was not simple.

Raised in California, old Army wife, moved around a lot.
Few years ago, lived in Greenville, SC for 6 years.
Observing Southern culture was a real education.
Black/white race relations were far more amiable than what I was use to in the West. It raised a lot of questions about black slaves that never left their “owners”, for all that slavery had been they were thankful to in America. “Owners” that freed their slaves before the war.
That led me to ask the question, “Why are we led to believe Americans were the only ones to hold slaves? It’s the evil Americans history? Were there no slaves in Europe?
When I started asking those questions, it opened up the whole history of slavery. Very short conclusion: For most of history, in most of the world, slavery has been the norm for all races.
Ending slavery in Great Britain and America is the real story! Something the world had never experienced on such a scale before.

I am familiar with the information in your post, it’s correct.
Being as so many blacks were slave owners, how would we have ever ended slavery without the Civil War?
(I know it was economically unsustainable.)
