Investigators believe 32-year-old Benjamin Hovan broke into a retired woman’s home in South Miami on the 4th of July, pistol-whipped her and robbed her. He stole a 2006 silver Mercedes Benz from the victim, as well as an expensive bracelet and ring, police say. South Miami investigators say surveillance cameras in the area captured Hovan.
