There is nothing wrong with speaking the language of the country you are visiting when you go there. I am much more concerned about politicians speaking Spanish in America to American audiences, something Republicans do as well as Democrats.

The author doesn’t seem to realize that, for the most part, “King of the Hill” was a very conservative show, and this new one is likely to be quite conservative as well. It should be pretty clear by now that Mike Judge has no use for liberals.

Of course state capitals do well economically. They are recession proof and tend to suck up all the money from the rest of the state, just like DC is recession proof and sucks up all the money from the rest of the country.

No, they haven't. This pursuit of Demjanjuk is all about politics--the Germans want to atone for their sins by sacrificing a Ukrainian POW they forced into service (if he was indeed at Sobibor), and the Office of Special Investigation at the Justice Department wants to save face over the Ivan the Terrible debacle, where not only did the Israeli Supreme Court overturn Demjanjuk's conviction (and specifically refuse to try him for what the Germans want to try him for), but the Sixth Circuit found that the Justice Department prosecutors had engaged in prosecutorial misconduct and had committed fraud on the court.
