I watched Super Bowl XXI (1987) ripped off of You Tube.

The theme was Disney Salutes Hollywood on its 100th Birthday.

It was not today’s Superbowl. Introduced by a 91 year old George Burns with Snow White as arm candy. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale made short dance appearance with a cameo by Mickey Rooney.

The music was canned, and the performance was marching band and big dance number themed.

Even the commercials during the game were better.

Lolz.

The Lions are never going to the Super Bowl.

Everything a government gives to you, that government can take away from you.

The money is put into accounts then invested; propping up the markets with an extra step and a barrier for criticism.

Because:”Its for the children.”

Maybe, but Kid Rock could not keep up with his soundtrack.

I might just watch all of the old games there from now on.
It was definitely a better vanished time.

Ok. Just finished Halftime show.

Canned music (whatever), but a marching band and big dance number motif. Only shocking thing was how clean cut Americana everything was.

Currently watching Super Bowl XXI (1987) downloaded from You Tube.
Neil Diamond sang the National anthem. (no embellishments, very straightforward) Haven’t made it to the halftime show yet.
John Madden and Pat Summerall are sublime.
The commercials are all low key and mostly family orientated. I am surprised to see all of the big companies and brands that are now out of business.
First Super Bowl with play review.(only booth upstairs and a time limit.)
Great game, looking forward to the second half.
Only drawback is game is in 480p so I cant watch it on the big screen.

I have downloaded a 5 hour video of Superbowl XXI (commercials included) off of you tube.

I will be watching this instead of today’s festivities.

The loss was not just because of one play. There was a very high number of variations or missed plays by all of the 22 people (not counting the Refs) on the field.

A couple of missed tackles or blocks, receiver dropping the ball, running back loafing on a couple of plays,coach calling wrong play...etc and more. ALL of these things decide whether a team wins or loses. Not just one play.

A game is decided by multiple factors. not just one play.

If you use the long drop method, the head pops off like a champagne cork.😲

We lived in a semi rural community and EVERYONE was armed to the max.

Sometimes I miss the guns. I’m old and lost all of them when my duck boat sank.😢
