John Dewey's PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION is one of the three philosophies that has plagued American culture ever since the 1930's. (The other two are Sigmund Freud's PHYCHOANALYSIS and Charles Darwin's EVOLUTION.) It has taken over public schools, and has grown to such an extent that people don't even think about it anymore, it's just accepted. But has it really worked? Is it just me, or are we seeing more and more independents and liberals infiltrating Free Republic? Last time I checked this was a conservative news forum. We can't do anything about it, but, it just seems weird to me, but it shouldn't. Independents are liberals who are too afraid to look like bad guys so they tell everybody that they are Independent.

The future of the Republican Party, currently, looks grim, however, you must also think about how the Democratic Party looks. George W. Bush leadership on the Iraq War is not that good, and left-wing media is there every time you turn around. The only thing Bush has going for him is the economy, which is a big plus. So he might not get another term. But lets think about John F. Kerry winning. He could be the greatest president this nation has ever seen (highly unlikely though), but he is bad news for the Democratic Party. Many people still believe...
