This shot is being distributed via E-mail through out Taiwan, I can not vouch the authenticity of the pic. This is what the E mail is saying(in Chinese): A country that wants to conquer the whole world and this is how they treat their babies. This is the society that treasures their baby boy’s. This shot was taken by an English tourist during her visit to main land china. The baby girl was barely alive when the picture was taken. By the time the English tourist was able to bring the baby to authorities the baby died. The Chinese Athorites...

My wife, a naturalized citizen, and I created this Flash movie as the opening movie to her Master project titled Interactive Tutorial of the U. S. Citizenship Test. We thought it was appropriate to post this today, 9-1-1. We would really appreciate your input. This is still a work in progress and we will be adding control buttons next. It is a 3.5 meg file so it will take a bit to load. We will also add a ‘loading’ window next. Please be patient. Thank you. Click here: God Bless the USA – proud to be an American

Electronic Arts makes an on-line game called Ultima on-line which has around 200,000 accounts at $10 an account. It is basically a mid-evil adventure game on-line. I have been playing the game since 1997 about as long as I been coming here to FreeRepublic. Not long ago they have allowed kids under 18 to play this game on-line. As a result they have a new problem on their hands. A great deal more harassment calls. The problem has gotten out of hand for the people running the game and as a result they have made a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on...

I am debating with this communist from Britain that is willing to give me from $500 to $1000 worth of on-line stuff if I can prove he made up figures from this article. Obvously I don’t like this guy and I will split this if I can win this. European Poll Faults U.S. for Its Policy in the Mideast Here is his E-mail challenge: “I tell you what. Click on it again, and if you can prove that I made up a single one of those figures, I'll give you every possesion I own in UO. Post it to the...
  • Tory split talks denied (creation of a new party to represent Conservatives with libertarian views.)

Reports that centre-left Conservatives are planning a breakaway party were today played down by a leading figure on the Tories' modernising wing. The Telegraph reported that up to 50 backers of defeated leadership candidate Michael Portillo have been meeting over several months to discuss the creation of a new party to represent Conservatives with libertarian views. But the shadow education secretary, Damian Green, insisted that changes being made to the party under its leader, Iain Duncan Smith, made it the true home for those with "moderate mainstream" views. He said he had heard no talk of a split in the...
  • Thought I would share this with you. From a sight I debate with the left that think I am nuts.

He said: “The target was the WTO---the symbol of conglomerate capitalism? And the Pentagon---the military force that protects and enforces the system of conglomerate capitalism? What does that have to do with AMERICA? These two institutions do not represent America, but Conglomerate Capitalism. American Citizens have no call to protect Conglomerate Capitalism or Globalization. These institutions do not care about America. They don't even want to pay their taxes. They don't care about American workers, or American Jobs. They don't care about anything that stands for America. There is no evidence that the attack was an attack on Americans. The...

Some local activists have formed a Karl Marx study group that is going to meet every other Saturday in Pasadena at 4:00PM. So forget everything you thought you knew about Karl Marx, start reading what Marx actually wrote, starting with his early writings, and lets get together and have some lively discussions about it. Walt Sheasby, who is a teacher, writer and political and sociological theorist, will be leading the discussions on Marx's early collected works. If you're interested you can email him at WSheasby@cs.com (it's preferred but not required to RSVP if you would like to join the group). ...
  • A conversation with an extreme liberal that scares me.

    09/29/1999 7:14:57 PM PDT · by Steve Van Doorn · 25+ views
Out of respect of the operator of the board I | Sep 28 1999 | My self and an extreme liberal.
Here was my question: “Are the people the enemy? If they are you are correct you must take away their weapons and they must work under an armed force. They will always be suspicious and never get your full cooperation. Thus they will always be your enemy. What a dreadful thought.” This was the answer: “I will (be) very specifically say that the kind of people who own guns, mostly Republicans and criminals, are indeed our enemies!”
