Now, I didn't expect Reid to harp about the stimulus saving everything right away--since the scare tactics were working and he could have proposed another trillion in a month or so to fund a complete makeover of the Las Vegas airport or a monorail running between Vegas and Reno. But this is absolute chutzpah for the Senate Majority Leader. We are in a new paradigm since The One won so maybe we can see instant results when he blesses a bill...or not.

Shocka! Stewart actually busted on Obama's poor speaking style, the reporter who asked the inane A-Rod question, the Huffington Post and just about every other brutal aspect of that press conference. It's a start I guess and one doubts it will spread to the volume we saw with Bush but late night talkers would be wrong to miss this gold mine of comedy. So far, in less than a month, Obama has broken every campaign promise, hired tax cheats, irritated our allies, ridiculed his VP and essentially made a mess of his first task--ramming through the porkulus package.

The unholy alliance of Specter, Collins and Snowe crossed and voted for this abortion of a bill even though it appears Specter had not a clue what was in it. I love Obama's line "it's a start". I guess he's not just happy destroying America, he wants to salt the land so all hope is gone. This is liberal nirvana, we have a tax cheat setting policy that no one has any confidence in and appears as if will send us the rest of the way into oblivion and three RINO's sealed the deal. Great day for America, eh?

Mr. Shapiro, I suggest you seek cover and duck for you have broken the liberal law of saying that Obama just isn't that great of a communicator. Libs think of him as their Reagan while the rest of us chuckle every time we hear that. Obama didn't get his point across--or if he did, it was mixed in with so much mumbo-jumbo as to be indistinguishable to the average viewer. What was needed was brevity and what was delivered was decidedly long-winded, non-committal and flat.

This guy was protecting his property, stopped those who entered it at gunpoint, turned in criminals and is now being sued because of it. There's no one in America outside San Francisco or New York City who couldn't understand that this guy was protecting his property. If I were Rep. Cantor I'd highlight this issue and make it stay in the news for weeks. Make Obama comment on it and then hammer him if he took the side of illegals. It's golden.

Read that again, 90% of mortgages could be paid off using the money these elected officials have blown but then they couldn't grease palms for the next election now could they? Talk about a stimulus; give people actual money with the intent on paying down their mortgages--the largest debt anyone has and the largest chunk of money paid out monthly. If the American public could cut their debt in half, the banks would start lending again, money would flow from more free spending and tax coffers would grow in no time. But that would require fiscal sanity and we are...

Hey Bill, here's a newsflash: liberals make no money (and steal from kids when they try), which is the entire point of producing and airing a program. Yes, the government allows the commercial use of airwaves but only because they have to regulate the signal, not the content. Someone like Press will never understand that.

A bill that won't really help his state in the long run has drawn Sen. Arlen Specter to the dark side--a place he seems comfortable--all in the name of "bipartisanship". Specter doesn't quite grasp that when all is said and done, you probably won't want your name remotely associated with this socialist spending agenda wrapped in stimulus clothing. But hey, Arlen, you'll be remembered for two things: the magic bullet theory and selling out your party in its most crucial moment. A legacy to be proud of I'm sure.

It's come to this; Teddy Kennedy is going to fly in for the vote and he can't be in good shape. If the GOP stays united, they still can't win and Teddy's trip will be for naught. Since he's coming in I expect that they do indeed have the votes and the GOP in the Senate couldn't hang like the GOP in the House. The traitors are getting played for suckers but we expect nothing less from the Dems. Congrats to those who go to the dark side, you'll forge your legacy as the ones who turned against your party...

I believe the use of abortion to be abhorrent but it is a federally protected right at this point. However, this case is disgusting beyond words. Remember, it was Obama who refused to take a stand in this type of situation and who has seemed to change his stand with the changing wind direction. Liberals will fight to save an evil killer like Mumia Abu Jamal but not the little girl exterminated here.

Fonda pissed all over POW's and allowed herself to be used for propaganda by the North Vietnamese. The photo (at right) of her looking through an anti-aircraft gun is as iconic as any from that war. She was a traitor against her nation as much as Tokyo Rose (the Ruth Hayakawa version), Robert Hanssen or Alger Hiss. There's two things that are is as ingrained in military life today as they were forty years ago: Your recruiter screwed you and Jane Fonda is a still a f***ing traitor. Both will never go away.

Again, the rightish online media has ensured that this is a topic that isn't going to disappear any time soon and Obama finds himself in a corner because of it. If he cedes anything to the right, his liberal base will excoriate him. A catch-22 if there ever was one. Talk to anyone tomorrow at the local 7-11 or supermarket and ask them what they think; I guarantee that their response is something akin to what I'm saying. Obama has lost the propaganda battle and with it, he may just lose the war on this issue.

Bush may have helped Obama here and I think that was part of his plan. He was saddled with an al-Qaeda that was emboldened by the Clinton administrations inaction and they unleashed 9/11 on us because of that inaction. My estimation is that Bush didn't want to leave Obama the al-Qaeda threat like it was carelessly left to him.

This is by far the most embarrassing selection and appointment process in history with nominee upon nominee being shown as a scam artist or shady character. Richardson, Geithner, Daschle, Killefer, Holder...it goes on and on. I'm embarrassed for the administration..well, in between furious bout of roaring laughter. How does this look to the rest of the world. Under Bush they just hated and feared us, now they still hate us, don't fear us and think of us as a laughingstock with a new regime full of crooks and incompetents. Change you can believe in! Yes we can!

Oh, the Dems are fat dumb and happy with the money they are looking to spend. Stimulus Watch is tracking some of the projects and it ain't pretty. How about $450-million for a new police admin building. I'm in the construction business and there's no way in hell any building could cost that much. I recently was working on a project that involved building two inner city schools. Total cost is about $40-million.

Obama made a great spectacle of announcing that he was not going to comment on world and national events in the months between the election and the inauguration because there was only "one president at a time". Now we find out that he was having discussions with two problem nations before the election

Oh how sweet it is. Obama is now finding out just what a difficult job it is to deal with those who with America harm. Or as Bush famously noted: "It's hard work". The libs screamed about the alleged abuses perpetrated by the evil Bush regime and turned all their hopes to BHO because he took a "courageous" stand against torturous tactics like waterboarding and playing the Barney song too loud.
