Actually on my radio show several weeks ago when discussing the death of Leo on The West Wing, I had said wouldnt send a signal of Jimmy Smits would pick the Alan Alda character as his VP with him being a Republican.

While I am a Democrat, I am all for more choice at the ballot box and having a third party be a check on the other two.
