The Seabees are the best military engineers! I am proud to be one. I am waiting for those guys in NMCB 133 to show up in Iraq to relieve us soon. Those poor guys have to clean up that mess and then ship out for here. If it were up to me I would give them another month or so back in Gulfport to get their stuff together. Godspeed Seabees!
Gulfport is the home of the East Coast battalions, Port Hueneme is the home for the west coast. This is a first in Seabee history that west coast deployed to the east to help. NMCB 133 are to relieve us in less than a month in Iraq, I am hoping they are not delayed. I know Gulfport Bees are helping cleaning up the city, but haven't heard anything about the Bees going to N.O. If the Army Corps of engineers are in charge of rebuilding N.O. then god help us. I am not impressed with them over here, and that is putting it kindly.
