I found a new novel out about the Union Militia's atrocities against people in southeastern Missouri, by a major publisher (Morrow/Harper Collins) called Enemy Women, I kept on reading waiting for the fat southern bigot, the mealy-mouthed abused ladywife who says 'Doan hit me, Enenezer' and the hot little number seducing innocent black men, the tobacco-chewing and spitting Johnny Reb with a turkey feather in his forage cap, etc. etc. and by golly they weren't there. She's found facts about women relatives/wives of Confederates thrown into prison, it was given a rave review by NYT (!!) and People --- and there ain't no N----- hating lynching bigots in it! Maybe they had too many vodka and snapples for lunch or something, but there it is.

You know what? I think Free Republic posters just flat suck. I posted a reply to this query as somebody who spent ten years among native people and got not one reply to my comments --- all comments were from people who had READ about native people. Y'all suck. I'll be damned if I remain on this site or spend any more effort trying to communicate. Drop effing dead.

I lived with and worked with native people for over ten years, and learned to speak an aboriginal language somewhat. It's a very different culture. Most tribes in the western hemisphere were hunters and warriors, both of which your liberal friend would dissaprove. As warriors, they lived by raiding one another and the young men killed for sport. Liberals want to rely on the myth of the "noble savage" to paint them as good and white people as bad. Bands of young warriors went out to prove their manhood, raiding the neighboring tribes, killing men, women, children if they could, and stealing horses, etc. Anything was fair game. Inside their own tribe, relationships were kind, loving, and sharing, often according to a strict set of kinship rules. People would go to heroic lengths to help one another. Left/liberals, or some form of left/liberalism, has been attaching itself to Indians since the middle of the 19th century, putting out propaganda to convince the public that they were indeed peaceful pastoralists, but few tribes were. Today, they have managed through government programs to infuse a victim mentality on most native people, who have also joined in the myth-making that they were all peaceful. Native American languages were, and are, rich, complex and expressive. The people were indeed close to nature, as are farmers and cowboys. However, they could be phenomenally cruel to animals. they have also killed wastefully. I have seen it myself. I have also seen the great generosity and kindness given to people inside --- and I repeat --- inside the tribe. I got kind of adopted and people went to no end of trouble for me. Another condsideration is witchcraft. Again, liberal propaganda has convinced us that shamans are in touch with spirit forces and help the people, etc. They are also bullies, frightening people to death with the threat of curses, and demand payment and/or tribute. So --- it's more complex than just being angels or devils. In Texas, settlers suffered from Comanche raids for years and the Federal government in the 1870's ignored these raids,while men women and children were butchered and tortured by raiding gangs of young men. The comanche were also the bravest fighters on earth. It's complicated. I can't really reccommend any books because most of them have a liberal/academic bias. The one exception is T.R. Fehrebach's The Comanche. It's very good. She can get it from Amazon. Just tell your friend to look into things more than just reading her local 'alternative' rag.

Alright, being a newbie I hope I haven't posted this twice. I was in Mexico when the Gulf War broke out and saw a Mexican newspaper with the photo of a supposedly 'Iraqui' woman mourning over the bodies of her six sons, supposedly killed in the American bomings. The photo looked familiar. Back in San Antonio, I found it in a Time Life book of newsphotography, and it had been taken in the mid or early eighties, and it was actually a Turkish woman with the bodies of her six sons killed in an earthquake. I informed Time/Life their photo was being misused but ha ha of course they shugged or something, if one can shrug in a form letter.

This is exactly right. People are wasting their breath trying to assert we don't hate Muslims. This isn't about Islam at all, it's about rich kids getting off on murder and explosions with no threat to self. The fascination with violence by privelidged kids is amazingly similar across the board. The Columbine killers and Osama Bin Laden and ilk make videos of themselves, take pics of themselves with heavy weapons, kill unsuspecting people and then often themselves.Heidiggers' philosophical position wasn't a philosophical position, it is merely philoso-babble covering up an emotional position ---- the thrill of easy violence. Fanon and many others were from priveidged families and got off on violence in a big way. Then comes the verbal puke trying to make is sound 'okay'. With moronic gabble about 'purity'. And Heidigger is taught seriously in academe by nutty professors who also think killing people is 'okay' as long as they are out of the range of fire. Terrific article.

Time to start organizing the Million American March on Washington to protest INS corruption and demand the removal of 8 million illegals. Time to start organizing now for next September 11th before the leftists co-opt the day and organize a march for peace and surrender to the enemy.

I'll say it again. We need to start planning a Million American March on Washington for next september 11th demanding the total reorganization of the INS, closing the border, and searching out and deporting the illegal aliens. we need to plan this now before the Leftists start planning a Sept. 11th '02 march on Washington demanding peace or something.

I knew it. I am but a newbie scum but this place is a hotbed of cold feet. They don't enforce the law as a matter of fact. The INS gave Atta a walk on an invalid visa and there is much else on this site that shows they don't enforce the law in the least. How about a Million American March just for fun? It would be a way to draw people from all over and get all the marchers that went out to Klamath back to their home states.

I have been posting all over FR the suggesting Freepers organize a Million American March to Washington specifically in protest against the INS as they have let the terrorists in the country, and will let in more yet, and the entire bureacracy is deeply suspect.

I hope you have read Stolen Valor, by B.J. Burkett, every crazy on the street claims to be a Vietbam Vet., Burkett has exposed over 800 phonies who want sympathy for their bad behavior by claiming to be VN Vets with PTSD. Burkett files Freedom Of Information Acts on them to obtain their service records under their name and very very many times it turns out they were nowhere near Vietnam, ever. Be careful.

We need to have a Million American March specifically on the INS offices in Washington, to show how people feel about this. The INS is corrupt through and through.
