large amounts of hail, some of it oddly ring-shaped. Lots of sirens going up and down the streets of mid-town. We are in the historical district. Bad winds, but now passed over. Debris and flooding in the streets. But it is passed over and all OK

Sitting in Hutto (north east of Austin) watching it come this way. gosh, I sure hope that I don't have to take a ride in the bathtub tonight.

Just talked to our daughter in San Marcos - no rain at all. So it must be all south of them. Getting a poop load in southern missouri.

Reconsider that "bathtub" thing.... I once got to dig through the debris of what was left of my sister's home, searching for her bathtub because I was sure I would find her body there! The tub was holding a very large part of her roof, but she had left her house just prior to the tornado.....an interior closet is much better......
And good luck - I hope the storm goes past you...

It's going like crazy at my house in extreme Northwest Travis county. Beautiful light show. See the lake and the white caps on the water.

Well, I guess my mother in Jonestown is cowering. She's scared you-know-what-less of storms. THey can see Lake Travis from their house on a hill but knowing her she's in a closet.

Nothing on the northside. A few blinks that didn't even knock out my computer. Willie, my dog who is terrified of storms, didn't even freak out. Didn't hit this side of San Antonio.

I lost my Direct TV signal. Everything else is fine. Gawd, I love the hill country in the spring. Cold fronts meeting the gulf air and the storms are beautiful. Sitting with all the doors open out to the screen porch.

LOL I think I'm adopted. Nothing better than rain on a tin roof to sleep under, but she stays up all night worrying that the dreaded tornado will hit. As long as it doesn't wake me up I dont care. LOL Our next home will have a tin roof on the porch just for sleeping. Hail is another matter.

We're in Douglas county and have just had a lot of rain. Good for the longhorns' grass but it is getting old. Even the dogs hate to go out to go potty.

I am in Northwest San Antonio by IH 10 and DeZavala Rd. It was a hard rain for about 20 minutes and strong winds but that has been it. Heard on TV that there was a tornado in the southside of San Antonio on SW Military Drive. At this time of 9pm central it is not raining at all. Thanks for the concern. I am sure there are some parts that got hit hard but we were not part of it this time.
