Copper is rising due to the impact of inflation on commodity prices it isn’t being driven by demand.
This statement: “In addition, China’s economy is improving...” is incorrect. Their stock market has improved in price (also mainly due to inflation of asset prices) but their employment rate, real estate, and overall business activity is still in the crapper.
It’s the same in Japan...there’s a point where they almost force the kids to go to the store on their own and get something. A lot of times they have someone trail them just to be safe, but the idea is sorta like forcing the baby bird out of the nest to make them more independent. Helicopter parenting has weakened us in my opinion.
Depends on the box… some have a gasket that would prevent the lid from making full contact with the sides… it can be remedied using metallic tape, but the best confirmation is to place a cell phone inside and try to call it in a location with good cell phone reception… if you hear the ring then it’s not working as a faraday cage.
Once prices drop further I could see converting commercial to a combination of retail and residential…. Say every 5 floors would be a retail floor with restaurants and retail stores the 5 floors of residential and another floor of retail/food, and so on…. I could easily see people never leaving their building at all…. Reminds me of something almost out of Bladerunner

Yeah they look pretty good, but on the first one the ships were way too close into shore - we’d be over the horizon (roughly 16 nautical miles) out of sight of land when launching a shore attack like that.
Not just Boeing I’ve been watching programs across multiple companies in med devices for the past 24 years and engineers aren’t being taught standards and techniques the way we did before … now it’s all just generate cad or gerber(circuit boards) get parts in and run a test if it passes it’s good to go. Minimal finite effects analysis as little failure modes and effects as possible and get it out the door - we’ll fix any problems later. Has led me to leave a few places on my own and even though quality is supposed to ensure
Compliance and limit potential liability were seen as a roadblock or overreacting the majority of the time.
