Let’s see, 85 miles x 2 = 170 miles, and at 20 mpg would require 8.5 gallons of gas, which at $4.00/gallon would give a sum total of $34.00! Where do they get $47.88 from??? Me thinks if they can’t even estimate the cost of gas for a car trip between Tampa and Orlando, what hope do they have of estimating high speed rail costs and ridership? I’d say, zippo!
