When I first snapped out of my leftist bubble three years ago, I was shocked to find out how many professions had been infiltrated by the far left. The mainstream media, Hollywood moguls, and the universities were willing tools of progressivism. But there is an occupation just as culpable in ushering in cultural Marxism, though its contributions are far less well-known. For this profession, I don't have to look further than my own backyard -- that is, psychotherapy. What I have discovered after researching the history of psychology is that the originators were not simply interested in fixing people. Many...

BILLINGS - The Montana Highway Patrol says a 13-year-old girl was killed after trying to pass a slower vehicle in an Interstate 94 construction zone in Dawson County. Trooper Glen Quinnell identified the victim as Heather Giles of Billings. The patrol says Giles was driving a car eastbound and approaching a construction zone where traffic was restricted to one lane. She sped up and tried to pass another vehicle in the median when she lost control of the car, causing it to roll. The vehicle came to rest on its top in the westbound lanes. Giles was pronounced dead at...

This could honestly shake American politics to its core — but today we ran across a photo of Louise Slaughter that made us wonder. Is “Louise Slaughter” just a clever alias of George Soros, when he needs to commit his evil deeds in public, in drag. Really, really bad drag. Terrible drag. “Louise Slaughter” sure sounds like a name a supervillain would come up with. “Lou Ease Slauhter”, as in, Soros easily slaughters “Lou”. L.O.U. could stand for all sorts of things. Liberty. Opportunity. UnitedStates. So, “Louise Slaughter” is a villain who “slaughters” liberty, opportunity, and the United States. Just...

via charlotteobserver.com Sarah Palin, the hottest name in the Republican Party, took a detour from her book-signing tour Sunday to dine with Billy Graham at his mountaintop home in Montreat. "He's followed her career and likes her strong stand on faith," said son Franklin Graham, who was present for the 2 1/2-hour get-together. "Daddy feels God was using her to wake America up." The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate told Billy Graham about how she came to faith in God as a girl in Bible camp. She quizzed him on the presidents he's known and wanted...

Words mean things. Activists, radio hosts, bloggers, talking heads, authors and emailers should refrain from referencing this assault on our economy as "The Health Care 'Reform' Bill." The word "reform" brings to mind things like "easier;" "streamlined;" "uncluttered," and "up-to-date." The results of this legislation will be the opposite of those words, as most of us are aware. Therefore, the use of the word "reform" is cooperation with the delusions that the RATs have attempted to foist upon the complacent TV addicts of our nation. I beg you to call it what it is: It is a Health Care Demolition...

More than two decades ago, Life Extension called attention to the over-the-counter heartburn drug cimetidine—more commonly known by its brand name, Tagamet®—as a complementary cancer treatment. Although cimetidine was developed to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, and sour stomach, numerous studies demonstrate that this readily available medication may offer powerful support in the fight against cancer.Unfortunately, many cancer patients and even oncologists remain unaware of the compelling evidence demonstrating its efficacy. Snip... An Unexpected Anti-Cancer Agent The first studies to hint at cimetidine’s effectiveness against cancer were published in the late 1970s. Although scientists initially thought that cimetidine worked by enhancing...

Patients taking beta-blockers for their blood pressure have a 50 per cent higher risk of developing diabetes compared to being on newer drugs, researchers have revealed. For the first time, a new study reveals the risk of using the older drugs which are no longer recommended for treating high blood pressure. Patients taking beta-blockers and diuretics - standard medication for over 30 years - are at far greater risk of becoming diabetic. Not only are they less effective than newer medication, but they actually hasten and, in some cases, induce the disease in blood pressure patients - who are already...

A quick note to you regarding an update on the Ten Commandments issue in Montgomery, AL. To be honest, I was asking God, "What's the big deal?," and the Lord spoke clearly to me, "I didn't come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it in this nation. The rocks are beginning to cry out." Jesus is the TRUE Rock, and He is crying out to us to be wise and realize that this isn't one man's fight, but His, for our nation, and our hearts are being evaluated regarding it. It is a heads up to us that, if...

From the Chicago Tribune Search for Abducted Toddler Continues By Shia Kapos, Tribune staff reporter December 26, 2001, 10:32 AM CST As Chicago police scoured the city for 16-month-old Jasmine Anderson, who disappeared Christmas Eve in a crowded South Loop bus station, the child’s mother today made another public appeal for the woman who allegedly took the toddler to return her. “All I can think about is her and her little face and not knowing where she’s at or who she’s with,’’ Marcella Anderson, 21, said at a news conference early this morning. As for the woman who befriended her ...
