So, I'm sitting here watching News 12 Westchester on my day off, and there is a terrible story about a DUI accident involving a mother (drunk), her 4 year old in the back seat, and three guys in the wrong pace at the wrong time. It seams that the woman, Letecia Chavez, was bombed to the gills with her kid in the car, and went head on into another car. It happened in Portchester (land of 6 votes), and she doesn't have a DL, so I'm immediately thinking that she is an illegal alien. I STAND CORRECTED. Please understand that...

I am thrilled to announce that a little more then a day ago, Mrs. NYleatherneck gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Mom and my little devilpup are doing great!!! CAMP PENDLETON, California (Reuters) - Charges against one of the eight U.S. Marines accused in the killing of 24 Iraqi civilians in the town of Haditha have been dismissed, a Marine Corps official said on Tuesday. The charges against Sgt. Sanick Dela Cruz were dismissed because of "insubstantial" evidence against him, the official said. Three Marines remain charged with murder and four others are charged with dereliction of duty for failing to properly report and investigate the deaths.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs say that one of the witnesses who will testify on their behalf is former Brig. Gen. Janis Karpinski, the one-time commander of all U.S. military prisons in Iraq. Karpinski ? who the lawyers say will be in Germany next week to publicly address her accusations in the case ? has issued a written statement to accompany the legal filing, which says, in part: "It was clear the knowledge and responsibility [for what happened at Abu Ghraib] goes all the way to the top of the chain of command to the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld ."

It appears that Sue Kelly is going to lose her seat to John Hall. I can't say that I'm sorry to see her go, but it is a shame that a socialist somb*tch like Hall is moving in. After watching a story about this poor child on the evening news last night, my wife asked me an interesting question that I had no good answer for. Why did this young girl have a U.S. Marine honor guard to carry her casket out of the church? I thought it was a beautiful gesture on the part of the Corps, but for the life of me, I can't figue out why. Does anyone have any info ? Semper Fi, -B

Talk about train-wreck TV. The female guest was an embarrisment, and is a prime example of what is wrong with a certain part of an "unnamed" community.
