I have a neighbor on Cape Cod who works for on the larger and more popular resort hotels. Her manager told her that they were averaging an occupancy rate of 30% for what should be their busiest season.

I've spent 64 summers swimming and fishing in Nantucket Sound, Cape Cod Bay, and the Outer Beaches along the Atlantic. Over the last 20 years, I have fished extensively from a small boat.
About ten years ago, we gave up swimming from the boat around the Outer Beaches because of the presence of these sharks and the pollution of the water from the thousands of seals. Last year, we gave up swimming from the boat in Cape Cod Bay as well because of the increased presence of these fish.
Until last year, I landed all my fish by hand. After seeing the videos from party boats, hearing stories from other anglers, and seeing a couple white sharks around my boat, I bought a landing net. It's an inconvenience in a small boat but absolutely necessary now.

This is an interesting corollary to Jordan Peterson’s point about the human reaction to an excess of Order (vs. Chaos).
As a practicing clinical psychologist, he writes that such a state of existence will cause people, especially men, to “break things” just to relieve the predictability of their world.

I watched the testimony by all the Intelligence leaders before Congress. Adm. Rogers was the only one who was appeared composed and collected/ The rest - Clapper, Brennan, et al - were obviously sweating.
