I've never seen a law that you cant yell fire in a crowded theatre. That would be nonsense because if there were a fire someone should shout it.... However to shout fire and cause a disturbence with no fire in its self would be illegal, not the word fire.....

"Vietnam with its low death rate "

A friend contacted his relatives in Vietnam this week, and the relative said the govt is lying. He said its bad there, and extremely bad in the north, but it is squashed to keep the tourist traffic up. He did say he'd make further contacts over the weekend to see if other relatives agree....

Your right, he's got it backwards.....The founders intended once a man did his time/debt to society, he had his rights back. In fact many states gave men leaving prison a horse and a rifle.

If it wasn't for that " keep guns out of the hands of felons " excuse there'd almost be no excuse for any of their laws.

Our company has some workers who are "slow", considered mentally slighted. They do a good job and I'd have no trouble trusting them to own guns....What damn right would I have to prevent them from protecting their family whilst I protect mine???

Yup, and she's in her early twenties...

Considering juvenile records are supposed to be sealed, that eleminates 0 through 18....Early twenties? Couldn't be too dam long of a criminal history....

sorry about delay in answering, I work bad hours. I'm on starband, microwave transmit up to sat and recieve sat down, very fast. (no phone line)

When we moved out here it was our only comm, and it was expensive, but far less now. Cost either 200 for equip or 500 depending on the contract, at 200 about 100/mo yr, 60/mo yr, then 50., at 500, 70 yr, then 60, then 50, something like that. Plus about 100 for install, they wont let you do it. When we did it was about 700.

The address is static but I run a firewall. It is very reliable, and from test I run it is superior to almost all other systems. You can get tv at same time and it cost more of course.

Probably get more info at starband
I just logged in there, and if you decide to go with it you could email me, and if I refer you, we both would get one month free service, but I would have to have your name, email and phone number as its for friends and family.

The only downside is a good rain stops the signal, otherwise its perfect.

I'm on satellite and just ran this test at the bandwidthplace:

    1.1 megabits per second
Your raw speed was 1127168.52 bits per second which is the same as:
    Communications

1.1 megabits per second How communication devices are rated. Kilo means 1,000 and mega means 1,000,000. Examples include 56k modem and 10Mbit Ethernet

    Storage

137.6 kilobytes per second The way data is measured on your hard drive and how file sharing and FTP programs measure transfer speeds. Kilo is 1,024 and mega is 1,048,576.

    1MB file download

    7.4 seconds

The time it would take you to download a 1 megabyte file at this speed.

Compared to all connection types worldwide, yours is fantastic

Everyone points out how this is being made into such a big deal with such a low death rate.

I've searched the cdc site pages, and unless I missed it they covered everything possible about sars, except the condition of those recovered.

The reason for the seemingly panic is likely:

The Deaths + Condition of the Recovered

When I lived in lousianna I remember a cop beat up a city bus driver while off duty over a parking space.

The driver made the tv news as he had to be hospitalized.

Then the cop went to the hospital and beat him up again made tv news again, but with further investigation. Seems he had multiple rape charges against him that were never brought to court.

He went on admin leave until internal affairs took care of it...a paid vacation.

I really think they should face same consequences of their actions as you or I but they dont.

Heck, one of the worst drunk drivers I've ever been behind up here was in a sheriffs car with DUI patrol on the back of it. Myself and my carpooler were too chicken to try to flag him down and issue a citizen arrest. Good thing we didn't...

I'll give you a good one:

I work with two particular fellas
Fella one born in America , busted for pot selling over ten years ago...been out 5 years ..can never own a firearm due to fed charges

Fella two born in El Salvador...deserted army .. punishable by death...by his own words took part in what sounds like a gang rape... other dubious behaviors in his home country...
he became us citizen a few years ago....recently passed background check as his ss number comes up clean...now has a conceal carry permit

Do you see something wrong with how a former american born felon may be treated versus a newcomer with a background that does not even get checked...???

This saddens me too. Another that I played music with dies. One thing that really stands out in my memory of Johnny was in a studio in Texas.

Guy that wrote "Rag Mop", and Jimmy, one of G Jones' managers owned the studio. Anyway, Johnny pulls his studio guitar out of the case and guess what it was....

A single pickup, Sears silvertone. Played Fenders on stage at the time but like the silvertone sound for recording.

Made me feel better as a silvertone was my favorite amp but I used fender super reverb in studio.

I think Johnny probably joins about half the fellas ( and gals ) I played with. He'll be missed...

When I was a kid, one of my older brothers first introduced me to mercury. It was fun to play with, almost magical....Kids in school, labs etc..., played with it.

The dentists put it in our teeth fillings.....

I think where the problem lies is we elect ignorant people who can't hold down real jobs.

Might as well use their logic and ban copper, after all it's poisonous too. Can kill rather quickly....that is the proper Compound of copper

Some elements are harmless but their compounds deadly. Maybe they need to tell all us older people with mercury in our teeth we're dead as of years ago.

Mercury wont even dissolvwe in water.....
