Does anyone know if someone has compiled a complete list of all these fake, doctored and staged photos?

I really want to share all of this information with as many people as I can, and pointing them to one place would be good. I'll compile my own list if I have to. This is really quite amazing that they are being so blatant.

Believe it or not, I believe the Canadian babe is actually conservative! I guess Clinton has that "player" quality, a sociopath's magnetic influence on women.

Actually, I think she has switched political teams. She couldn't win as a conservative, so tried as a liberal. Sounds like a good opportunist partner for Bill.

Ugh! I disliked the hippies more than any other team ever. Their "we are so great because we like to just have fun act", got old to me real fast. I did not find them very funny, even though they tried real hard. But I think most fans of the show loved them.

Tyler has a web-site Tyler's website which shows his weirdness pretty well.

This makes no sense. What, the entire population of Mexico, plus 87 million other people, are all moving here?

The numbers that people are throwing around right now are silly. It kind of reminds me of when I hear some of the number the democrats throw around (i.e. so many homeless, so many millions uninsured, etc.) Only this time it is the Right throwing around the alarming numbers.

I do not disagree with Jeff Sessions attempt to bring this into the debate, but the discussion that is occuring about it is ridiculous. At some point, there won't be work for anyone, and people would stop coming. I think it would be quite a bit before 193 million.

He can't make up his mind as to whether the President is a man of character or not. One minute, he knows him, and how strong a character he has, and the next, he says he's not telling the truth.

I noticed this today on Rush's show and it bothered me a great deal! I love listening to Rush enough that I am 24/7 member. Mostly because he is generally positive and looks for the bright side even when things are not great. But today was horrible. I wanted to scream at him and all the callers.

He was basically saying that President Bush was just trying to string us along and try to appease us with a little something to make us believe he was going to be tough on the borders. What the heck!? When has the president ever not followed through on his word. Yes, he has made some compromises, but he does not just say things to appease people, and Rush is usually someone who recognizes this. I have generally found Rush to be respectful even when he doesn't agree with the President, but not today, and it made me mad.

I don't need to hear lockstep agreement with the President, just some respect, I think.

Anyway, I'm thankful I thought to look in this thread. I missed the speech, and was trying to find somewhere safe to read about it, and I found that here.

Well, I was really enjoying Lake and Michelle, before this week. I thought they were entertaining, and I thought the talk of him being "verbally abusive" was overplayed.

But then he said "shut up, bitch" and there is no excuse for that.

I can only hope that either MOJO or Ray and Yolanda win. Yes, Ray and Yolanda are boring, but I would probably be boring on the race too. I'd rather have that, then the hippies, who think they are funny, but really are not.

Sicily is cheaper than the rest of Italy, but has many beautiful parts. When I went there, I spent the week in Palermo (which I don't recommend) and took day trips out. I wish we had spread out a little more, because we missed Segesta and a few more places I wanted to visit.

Am I the only one that likes Lake & Michelle? They're growing on me.

No, they are actually my favorite team. They are the most entertaining of all the teams. It seems that they tried to typecast Lake as the overbearing husband, but I just think he is hyper. He can be annoying, but Michelle keeps him in line. They make me laugh, so I hope they stay in it a while. Others who are supposedly funny, are not, IMO.

I'm pretty sure there is only one yield, and once a team uses it, no one else can. Also, the racers do not necessarily know who is behind them. I think that is why the yield is rarely used, because people don't want to waste it on someone ahead of them.

I don't blame them for being upset, but the dumb-hicks from the South comment made me very glad they are out.

Yes, I find Fran and Barry to be the most annoying of all teams this year. They are just plain rude, and full of themselves. I hope they don't last, but there are not a lot of good racers in this group, so they might get lucky.

I don't care for the hippies myself. They seem very nice, of course, but they are just not funny, IMO. And since they are continually trying to be funny, they just annoy.

Riding on a bike given to him by George W. Bush when he was governor, a Calcutta man treks the globe carrying a message of environmental sustainability.

I'm very curious about this statement. I wish they had explained this - why did GWB give him a bike?

Why? Because of the picture NBC is trying to paint of them? I think all the noise is just NBC ... not the skaters.

Definitely not because of NBC. I agree they are adding a lot of noise! Chad has made quite a few ungracious comments about Shani and the entire situation. I just find them both to be really immature (and Chad is a little older, and should probably be a little more mature.) I'll still be rooting for him in his last race, but I am not a fan.

The more I learn about Shani and Chad, the less I like Chad and the more I like Shani.

Yes, Shani did give the most uncomfortable interview EVER after his win, but why should that bother me. If he were a favorite politician being rude to someone in the media, I would be cheering him on. :-) Why should he have to answer all their stupid questions about his fight with Chad and being the first black (not African American!) to win an individual gold. Why should he sacrifice his chances at individual gold (his best chance) to try for a team medal (much less sure.)

Chad has actually been a lot less gracious overall than Shani, and I like him less and less the more I see him. I do still hope he wins his last race, though, even though I am sick of him.

Staying away from all the fighting was Joey Cheek. He is a real class act. And if you read his bio, he mentions that a highlight from the 2002 Olympics was the opening ceremony where he met President Bush. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it makes me like him more than Johnny Weir!

I did post this on yesterday's Olympic's thread, but I am posting again, in case people would like to see a slightly better side of Shani Davis.

His post race interview on TV was incredibly rude, no doubt. In this article in the Chicago Tribune (registration required), he seems a little more gracious than Chad Hedrick, who couldn't say if he was happy for Shani:

"I wanted to win really badly because regardless of all the he-says-she-says and all the talk, I've been doing it since I was 6," he said. "And what's more rewarding than to go out there and fulfill one of your childhood dreams?"

Davis called his victory a "breakthrough" for African-Americans because it might inspire more black children to try the sport.

"That's the most important thing," he said. "The kids are the future. Kids should be able to go out there. I think skating's awesome."

He even praised Hedrick, saying: "I have a lot of respect for Chad. For someone to come over and do what he's done to the sport of skating, it's unfathomable. ...

"I want to see Chad do well. We're competitive. But it's not about being competitive with Chad right now. It's just going out there and doing the best that you can as an individual and being able to accomplish the dream that you set."

I think Chad and Shani will be racing against each other once again, and will be more evenly matched - should be interesting!

all this buzz about Shani: There is an awful lot of supposition on this thread. I would hate to think that someone might read it and take all this posts as fact.

Yes, I agree with you. Maybe all this type of speculation is what has made him bitter. (Here I go with my own speculation!)

Personally, I'd prefer not to know about the little fights in the background. I wish the media didn't feel the need to hype all of that and would let us just enjoy the sports.

I really don't think she does 2 shows. She does the show live from 9-12 ET, then stations air when they want. She does voiceovers for them to avoid saying "good morning" when it is night (which would be annoying.) I am a 365 member so I can listen whenever, and there is only 3 hours of material (actually 2 hours without commercials!)

I listened to the whole show today and it was very good with LOTS of soldier interviews. The only annoying part was Jed Babbin filling in and talking over her at times.

She usually puts up some free audio on her web-site from every show.

France and Germany permit “social” abortions only up to the 10th and 12th weeks respectively.

This is another quote from the article. It sounds like France and Germany have more restrictive abortion laws than we do.

Thanks for posting this article. I used to be pro-"choice", but it is articles like this one and the advance of ultrasounds which have turned me around.

Oh my, I've been so inspired by Tammy Duckworth. Now I am sooooo disappointed that she is a Democrat, and that she could even consider running as a Dem.

I can understand that she may consider herself a Democrat, but how in the world would she want to align herself with the cut-and-run party right now at this time in History with the way the Deomcrats have been behaving. That is really disappointing to me.
