Come on gang, what can we do to add fuel to this fire? I love it when RAT groups eat each other.

    Warm your hands over this.

Might not be anything to do but kick back and enjoy the conflagration.

Another reason to be thankful Gore is not in office. Bush did good getting Otto Reich in place over Democrat howls. Waiting for the election may be too late. The threat of Brazil going commie is enough to wreck the economy.

Talk to Joe Lieberman about it. He wants more Palestinians to come to America. Ted Kennedy wants any illiterate peasant who isn't Christian to come here. Bush was elected to keep law and order and protect everyone equally. Don't be bashing him for a situation he didn't create.

So what? Put DSA names in a hat and pick one out. All of them are as bad as Lee or McKinney. Bottom line is AIPAC could care less about those who work against America. They can stay as long as they toe the AIPAC line on everything else. McKinney is bad for America. But the Israel lobby claiming that is why they went after her is bunk.

Ollie North said tonight how Abu Nidal knew what North was doing in the Reagan White House is a mystery to him. He said perhaps the Soviets broke our codes. North had a small group around him and few were aware he was the one involved in going after Khadaffi.

Only time race, religion, nationality , heritage or whatever even enter into the picture is when someone tries to use that as a cover. In fact, as soon as those distractions are tried, it is obvious someone is hiding something.

There is another possibility. The DOJ is moving fast against Enron. The Italians and the FBI are deep into Operation Spiderweb which involves money laundering and rackateering very similar to what occurred with Enron. The two intersect here and there. A lot of people could fall, among them those on Clinton's pardon list. Might be best this information not be made public quite yet.

I'm not for many gun laws but if someone is suffering from schizophrenia or paranoid disorders so acute they are on haloperidol or a similar drug, there should be a effort made to keep them away from firearms. In some states, doctors are required to report anyone who says they have fainting spells and the DMV pulls their license (this I do not favor).

Whatever the case, if this guy is truly sick I hope they don't make an example out of him because of politics. Take his toys away, get him supervised and on proper medication.

Apparently Clinton didn't purge the government of everyone on our side. Wonder if Clinton meeting with a former KGB agent--now mafia boss--had anything to do with Clinton's trip to Moscow and Prague as a student. Loutchansky sure got invited into Clinton's inner circle fast.

People drift in and out of faith and faiths. Known many who were in very intense and, frankly, annoying religious groups.Everyone of them came out of it and grew from the experience. Freedom is always best. Let people be exposed to it all. Laws prohibiting the free exercise of faith are destructive to the human soul.

Shahal: Police report shows PM met with alleged Russian gangster

    Jerusalem Post
    by MICHAL YUDELMAN

TEL AVIV (November 24) - Labor MK Moshe Shahal said yesterday that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met the controversial businessman Gregory Lushansky, believed to be one of the heads of the so-called Russian mafia, in the summer of 1995.

Shahal, the former internal security minister, who based his statement on an intelligence report from June 1995, said that Internal Security Minister Avigdor Kahalani was not telling the truth when he denied that such a meeting took place.

The meeting, Shahal said, was arranged by Industry and Trade Minister Natan Sharansky, who had ties with Lushansky.

Both Netanyahu's and Sharansky's spokesmen denied such a meeting took place. Netanyahu's media spokesman Shai Bazak said the matter had been checked again by the police this week.

"Repeatedly it turns out that MK Shahal's fabrications are incorrect, and this proves the chronic lack of credibility from which he suffers," Bazak said yesterday.

Sharansky's spokesman Roman Polonsky said Sharansky had met with Lushansky several times, but not with Netanyahu present, and that Sharansky had not set up any meeting between them. He also denied Lushansky contributed any money to Yisrael Ba'aliya.

Israel Radio said yesterday that according to the police, Sharansky had arranged such a meeting, but there is no proof that it actually took place. Intelligence sources assume the meeting of the three men took place either in the Knesset or in Netanyahu's home, the radio said.

In an interview on Channel 1's Game of the Week, Shahal said the intelligence report notes that Lushansky is interested in penetrating the Israeli political system by contributing funds - in the millions of dollars according to intelligence estimates - to political figures in Israel, Shahal said.

Lushansky's name does not appear in the list of 33 alleged Russian mafia leaders compiled by the police and passed on to the Interior Ministry.

Shahal said that intelligence agencies in the West and eastern Europe warned Israel of Lushansky's attempts to penetrate Israel's political system, following such attempts in Russia in connection with Yeltsin's campaign.

Lushansky was a senior KGB agent in the 1970s, and employs at least one person who was in a senior position in Soviet intelligence. He owns a company called Nordex, which deals with almost all commercial fields, including arms.

Shahal said the American intelligence agencies are keenly interested in Lushansky due to his reported connections with illegal organizations, and meetings he attended.

Meretz leader Yossi Sarid is demanding Kahalani clarify whether or not Netanyahu met Lushansky.

Sarid referred Kahalani to a top secret document in the police intelligence unit's investigations branch, dated June 18, 1995, in which Sarid said the answer could be found.

Meanwhile, Likud Knesset faction chairman MK Michael Eitan plans to ask the Knesset's Ethics Committee to investigate Shahal's charges and take action against him if they prove unfounded.

Seems to be common in these cases. But did he take them because he was nuts or did he become nuts after taking them? And what drugs were they? If he was truly psychotic, why was he allowed to buy guns?

Every time this govt opens it's mouth about sadim and iraq, I get the shudders. I don't believe any of these so-called reasons are true, or from reliable sources.

I'm all for creating a Pax Americana. I want Saddam taken out and the mideast fixed once and for all. Our Navy setting up base on off the coast of Nigeria is a good move. So is the ring of bases we are building in the former Soviet Union, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.

However, I agree with you on the reasons being wrong. This should be done for America, not Israel. 9/11 gave Israel the idea that it could run US foreign policy. No matter how many times Israelis say it, our war is not Israel's war.

This election is turning into an AIPAC election. 4 African American congressmen targeted by AIPAC. And now AIPAC is going after Sununu (Netanyahu, who said on TV the other night he would never try to interfer in US affairs, is raising money for Smith..who, by the way will lose if nominated).

I suspect much of the weakening of support for action is because of the over-reaching by Israel. America supports Israel. But Americans do not want to be pushed around by Israel and certainly do not want Israel telling us when and where to use American troops. Big mistake because our actions will benefit Israel. No mother or father wants their kid to be shipped overseas to fight because AIPAC bought congress or Bibi Netanyahu wants them to fight.

In addition, Israel is a dangerous ally. Criminals such as Marc Rich, Grigori Loutchansky, Arkadi Gaydamak,Semyon Yukovich Mogilevich and hundreds more use Israel as a safe haven. These people have looted entire continents and Israel refuses to act against them. There is little doubt these criminals will seek to profit from our war. I want them and Israel keep as far away from American troops as possible. No American should die so Marc Rich can make another hundred million dollars.

O'Reilly asked Ollie North tonight how Abu Nidel knew Ollie was the guy to go after. North said that was a good question as few people outside his circle knew who he was or what he did when Reagan ordered Ollie to get Khadafi.

Think we have some serious problems. Probably as much in congress as we do in the intelligence community.
