"It's always Microsoft's fault, and Bill Gates PERSONALLY oversees their workmanship."

    Yep.
The open source crazies will ALWAYS find a way to blame Bill Gates for any problem that props up in the world.
There is no end to their ingenuity when it comes to coming up with ways to blame Bill Gates for something, no matter how contrived.
Heck they'd blame Bill Gates for the tsunami in Asia given half a chance.

So all phishing e-mails come from "zombie" Windows Servers huh?
Please be good enough to provide the proof for that outrageous statement will you?

Too many African Americans are closed minded to the Republican Party.
If they'd only just open their eyes and their minds and see how vastly superior the Republican Party is for blacks and everyone else, the RATS would find themselves in even trouble than they are now.
Still, progress is being made, albeit, at a snail's pace.
President Bush increased his share of the black vote, even if just slightly.
But then again President Bush increased his share of the Latino vote, the Jewish vote etc etc.
Heck President Bush even increased his percentage of the vote in even hard core liberal Massachusetts, finding an extra 200,000 votes in Massachusetts than he had in 2000.

"You might not be such a irritating bore if you did"

You are talking about yourself here, right?
Of course you are not happy attracting too much attention to your earlier outlandish statements.
    I wouldn't either.

"The middle 50 percent of computer systems software engineers earned between $58,500 and $91,160 in 2002"

Sys admins are not system softear engineers.
I am sure you know that already.

Plus even by your own figures, a full university professor (which this guy is) at average $86,437 per year is still making more than the verage systems software engineer, even if we use software engineer as the criterion.

Hey, dude can you appear on camera making that statement again, so Republicans can use it in their TV attack ads come 2006 and 2008?

Coming from the King of stupid , I take that as a compliment.

"A systems integrator with 10 years experience makes more than 100K. "

Depends on the size of the company, the size of its IT infrastructure etc etc.
You'll find that most sys admins with 10 years experience DON'T make $100,000, while most university professors with 10 years experience make more than that, since their salaries are standardized to some extent.
Like I said, if even Ward Churchill is making close to $100,000....

Agreed. I said much the same in my Post #316. You said it better. Thanks"

TommyDale pretty much predicted the reaction of the open source loonies in post 3:

"This theory will NEVER be accepted by the already-hate-spewing
venemous Anti-Microsoft crowd. It just cannot be!"

We pretty much predicted this normal ostrich like reaction from you guys.
    So what's new? LOL!
Same old living in denial by the open source loonies.
Read this. That should cheer you up some. :)
Pretty much corborates what this test came up with.

    My own favorite parts:

"the developers of the GRSecurity kit and RSBAC are getting increasingly angry over security holes in Linux and the design of the Linux Security Modules"

    AND

"Given that I'm getting lousy uptimes on my Linux servers because of the mandatory kernel upgrades, I certainly welcome a (constructive) critical look at Linux kernel security. "

"in the web space Apache/Linux are the leader of the pack.."

Apache runs on HP Unix, Solaris, IBM AIX, even Windows as well as Linux.
You can't claim its just Apache/Linux.
Plus of course Windows still leads by far in Fortune 1000 companies, as I have already posted on this board several times.
    That is what matters.

Hint: Even that useless Ward Churchil, with a two bit degree from some two bit university and no PHD is being paid nearly $100,000 by his universty.

"Clarified himself"? is in Klinton's "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" clarified?
    Clarified nothing.
This was a clear attempt to hoodwink.
I am bringing it up to show that his latest claims can't be taken seriously either, since his earlier claims were made up too.

    Yada yada yada.

We have had tons of security holes in Linux in the past 12 months alone, but we still keep seeing these boasts about "never had any security problems on my Linux box" from open source fanatics on this board all the time, something which is not backed up by the facts, as in this from your own open source loving slashdot:

"Security Holes Draw Linux Developers' Ire

Posted by timothy on Mon Jan 10, '05 07:01 AM from the quick-draw-me-an-ire dept. jd writes "In what looks to be a split that could potentially undermine efforts to assure people that Linux is secure and stable, the developers of the GRSecurity kit and RSBAC are getting increasingly angry over security holes in Linux and the design of the Linux Security Modules. LWN has published a short article by Brad Spengler, the guy behind GRSecurity and it has stoked up a fierce storm, with claims of critical patches being ignored, good security practices being ignored for political reasons, etc. Regardless of the merits of the case by either side, this needs to be aired and examined before it becomes more of a problem. Especially in light of the recent kernel vulnerability debated on Slashdot."

"I guess I need to support my assertion that Dr. Rashid wasn't the only person who worked on the Mach kernel"

Rick Rashid is still the one who is credited with developing the Mach multiprocessor operating system, which has been influential in the design of many modern operating systems and remains at the core of a number of commercial systems.
Of course most professors get some of the legwork done by their students in any research project.
That doesn't mean those students are credited with having invented or developed what was invented or developed.

Still doesn't explain your weird claim that:

"dalight: "The only University professor that I know who wrote a major operating system that enjoys any market share today is Linus Torvalds"

    Does it?
You just keep lying and hope no one catches you out, don't you? Normal open source fanatic practice..

Ummm about Linus Torvalds being a professor like you claimed.. what university was that at again?

You don't have a clue what you are talking about do you?
