I took this as a threat, as did many others on Twitter. Reported to Secret Service, FBI, DOJ etc. Not sure how to post properly (after all these years) but here goes "Seems like those “unnamed sources peddling second-hand hearsay with rank speculation that continue to leak inaccurate information,” came straight from 1600 Penn. Jared better start wearing his kevlar on his back."

WEST CHESTER >> The Common Pleas Court judge’s decision allowing for more than a dozen provisional ballots cast in the race for the 156th Legislative District seat has paved the way for an eventual hand recount of the votes cast in the tight race and, ultimately, a decision on who has won. But that recount will take a back seat, at least temporarily, to a hand recount of the results of the presidential race in Chester County, a recount demanded by supporters of failed Green Party candidate Jill Stein and some disappointed Democrats. On Thursday, the county Board of Elections...

July 13, 2004 -- The monsignor of an East Side Catholic church swindled an elderly parishioner out of $500,000 - including $100,000 that he used to buy a luxury condo on the Jersey Shore, an explosive lawsuit charges. Monsignor John Woolsey allegedly betrayed the trust of Rose Cale, who died last year at the age of 88. Now the executor of her estate, family friend Janet Naegele, has filed suit against the Archdiocese of New York and the pastor of St. John the Martyr Church over Woolsey's "unconscionable and reprehensible conduct" in draining the devout Catholic's life savings. Woolsey, "in...

April 1, 2003 -- THERE was a moment. Before the Mets took the field at Shea to break our battle-weary hearts, 50,000 Americans - those who'd traveled here from Queens or from Brooklyn, from Japan and India, Mexico and Russia, and even the Upper West Side of Manhattan - bowed their heads and shut their mouths. And for a moment, there were no arguments. No cheers. No cries. The only sound to be heard, unexpectedly loud enough to blot out your own breath, was the wild flapping of flags in the chilly spring wind. American flags. Then the moment of...

Opponents of the war in Iraq lying on Fifth Avenue at Rockefeller Center on Thursday morning blocked traffic for more than an hour. More than 200 people were arrested Thursday for blocking traffic in Manhattan during a day of civil disobedience called to protest the war in Iraq and the corporate media's reporting of the conflict. Waves of protesters lay down in the streets throughout the day, conducting mass "die-ins" that city police broke up by hauling people away in handcuffs, sometimes by the busloads. The largest die-in occurred during the morning rush hour in the area around Rockefeller Center...

Retired firefighter and Baldwin resident Bob Beckwith, whose image with President Bush atop a pile of rubble at ground zero was flashed around the world shortly after Sept. 11, turned down an invitation to attend the president's State of the Union address in Washington. The ticket was given to Beckwith last week by Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-Manhattan), who is pressuring the Bush administration to release $90 million in federal health funds in order to monitor rescue workers suffering from respiratory problems in the wake of Sept. 11. Maloney, who urged her House colleagues to give up their gallery passes...
