Prophets of Doom has been around probably since the beginning of man’s existence on earth. Whether one believe man was created by God from the dust of the earth, or he evolved from a sea creature, a monkey, or matter from a collision of the planets commonly known as the big bang. Whatever your preference for the origin of man it is no secret that from the time he began walking on planet earth he began predicting its end

Therefore, it’s not that the Mayans were predicting the end of the world. Based on their calculations of a five thousand year cycle they predicted that one event calendar was ending on December 21, 2012 and another one beginning on December 22, 2012. In other words, they were simply predicting the end of the five thousand year solar or planetary calendar. Although their scientists and astronomers did look for and anticipated natural disasters, they did not view them as world ending events. Is it reasonable to just stand and wait for the unexpected, the unknown, and possibly the unacceptable to happen, if it happens at all? Is it prudent to wait for the Lord to see you through when millions have died over a period of two thousand and seven years, hundreds of thousands within the last year – just waiting? While all this is going on where the hell is AIPAC and what is their position on the strained relationship between the US and Israel? Besides influencing American Congressional members, raising funds, and denying the obvious - what are they going to do about Netanyahu, and why are they allowing him to help Iran? Hmmmm!

With all these beliefs is there a chance that I could be wrong, and if I am – then who is right – and who’s reality can what is right or wrong be compared to?

However, despite the public appearance of a committed relationship most Europeans countries today, and some Jewish sects do not support the state of Israel and the European government is somewhat puzzled by the Americans protectionist attitude toward Israel. The common views outside the United States towards Israel is that they are an oppressor state — some go as far as declaring Israel a "terrorist" state, while others give Israel the benefit of the doubt by declaring "well, both sides are guilty, but Israel is stronger and should know better"
