Many at this forum have been condemning the Senate CFR bill that will be voted on Monday. I see this bill, as written, as a win-win for the GOP. Here is why? If passed as is, and not challenged in the USSC, the GOP increases its long time advantage of raising 'hard money' over the DEMs. Not a small thing. The ban on 'soft money' puts Terry McAwfull's job mostly moot as he was appointed by Bill because of his fund raising ability. The DEMs just in recent years finaly approached equality with the GOP in 'soft money' mainly because ...

Now that the NY Times newspaper has developed an affinity to censorship of a syndicated columnist, cnd we not now rightfully inquire what other acts of censoring the NYT has been up to? Censoring or editing abusive language is one thing, rewriting copy when it's against the papers's political bias is yet another. Does the NYT still expect its' fawning liberal readership to trust even its' syndications anymore? I hope the NY Post is having fun with this one.

Bush told the nation: “I have a lot to be thankful for tonight.” HE SHOULD BE thankful that all of the votes were not accurately counted in Florida.[Probably the most accurately counted ballots in US voting history] He should be thankful the U.S. Supreme Court functioned as his post-vote election committee.[Oh Barf Barf Barf] He should be thankful the American people really don’t choose their president.[people to stupid ...
