Hillary Clinton's defenders say she's sufficiently explained why she set up a do-it-yourself home email system when she was secretary of state, insist there's nothing to see here, and it's time to move on. You know who disagrees? The senior-most freedom-of-information official in the executive branch of the United States government for over a quarter-century, whose job it was to help four administrations — including the Clinton White House — interpret the Freedom of Information Act, offer advice, and testify before Congress on their behalf. Daniel Metcalfe doesn't buy her explanation. In fact, he calls it laughable. Hillary Clinton defends...

TOP 2014 STORIES Special to WorldTribune.com, July 8 By Grace Vuoto There is a problem with President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate: It’s a forgery, say multiple forensic experts who have examined it. A report detailing the evidence will soon be presented to Congress. On April 27, 2011 the White House released Mr. Obama’s long-form birth certificate in an attempt to quell a public firestorm over the validity of the shorter version he provided prior to his 2008 election. Washington (CNN) -- Two U.S. F/A-18 jet fighters bombed artillery batteries of Sunni Islamic extremists in Iraq on Friday, escalating America's military involvement more than two years after President Barack Obama brought home forces from the country. Obama authorized "targeted airstrikes" if needed to protect U.S. personnel from fighters with the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. The U.S. military also could use airstrikes to prevent what officials warn could be a genocide of minority groups by the Islamic State fighters. The U.S. aircraft dropped 500-pound laser-guided bombs on a "mobile artillery...

Rep. Blake Farenthold, a Texas Republican, told constituents at a townhall over the weekend that the House of Representatives would “probably” have enough votes to impeach President Obama. Farenthold was in Luling, Texas on Saturday, and after stepping past a question about the president’s birth certificate, suggested that the House would have the votes to impeach the president, but the Democratic Senate would kill the effort. “A question I get a lot — ‘If everybody’s so unhappy with what the president’s doing, why don’t you impeach him?’” Farenthold said. “I’ll give you a real frank answer about that. If we...

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In light of the Obama Administration’s recent announcement that it will delay the ObamaCare employer mandate until 2015, U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) co-sponsored two amendments today that would delay the individual and employer mandates. The amendments were introduced by U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (Kan.) to the FY2014 Labor-HHS-Ed appropriations bill. “Picking and choosing which aspects of this flawed law to postpone is like riding a bike with one wheel – it simply does not work,” said Blunt. “I’ll continue to support efforts to repeal and defund ObamaCare so that we can prevent this deeply flawed law...

There is no war on terror for the Obama White House, but there is one on Fox News. In a recent interview with The New Republic, President Obama was back to his grousing about the one television news outlet in America that won’t fall in line and treat him as emperor. Discussing breaking Washington's partisan gridlock, the president told TNR,"If a Republican member of Congress is not punished on Fox News...for working with a Democrat on a bill of common interest, then you’ll see more of them doing it." Alas, the president loves to whine about the media meanies at...

Today we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Isn’t it odd, with all of the great quotes from him, that we rarely hear many of them referenced. “Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.” “History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.” “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.” “The time is always right to do what is right.” “Our lives begin to...

During his press conference today Barack Obama played the socialist card, “When I’m over here at the Congressional picnic folks are coming up and taking pictures with their family. I promise you, Michelle and I are very nice to them and we have a wonderful time. But it doesn’t prevent them from going on the floor of the House and blast me for being a big spending socialist.” Oh waah. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3r-i8d3xfoo
