Well there are two Frank Koza's in the area of D.C., one in Virginia, one in Maryland. So why doesn't someone call Frank and ask him what is up with the Memo. I feel like it is a fraud.

This ought to be interesting with Dan Rather as the guest. Wonder how Bruce will handle this interview? All in all worth a watch as Willis one of the few Republicans in Hollywood.

To bad we didn't have advance warning of this interview. We could have implanted a Bomb in Rather's body and gotten rid of two idiots at the same time. Unreal, Rather can get close to him for an interview and the CIA and can't get close enough to Kill the Bastard. Hope our intelligence boys were able to get Rather some info on this little visit.

If his current film is any indication I would say he might have a successful career as Direct to Video and Tv director.

I am sure someone else has covered this but just how will this be enforced??
It's like here in Arkansas where you have to wear a seat belt, well just like smoking in a car it is a unenforceable law. The only people who get ticketed are those stopped for another reason or have been involved in a wreck. The smae will be true of smoking in a car. I guess when it close to the end of the month and the cops don't have their quota they will set up raod blocks in the cities and highways to find those people and fine them or better yet let's just have "Big Brother" in the car, camera, and control your life that way. Where the "HELL" does it all end????????
  • Honorary Oscar too early, O'Toole tells academy

Here at one point you had four of the finest actors of their generation to ever grace a stage or screen, Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole, Richard Harris & Anthony Hopkins. Between them they had umpteen Oscar Nominations and only Hopkins ever won and it was for "Silence of the Lambs". So many great pictures. One poster was right those guys knew how to act and there is not one Amercian actor today, with the exception of Jack Nicholson, who can really act. Oh well we can always watch the great films on TCM or AMC.
  • Clinton Library Begins Little Rock Trend (Suddenly, downtown Little Rock is booming)BARF ALERT

    jjhunsecker to TLBSHOW
This article doesn't tell the whole story. I live in Little Rock. Yes there is development in the area where the Clinton Library is going, but that development was the result of a lot of public money spent there to lure business. The Main Street downtown area is still fairly deserted and no big businsses, department stores, etc., are ever going to locate there. As for 300,000 people a year coming to the Clinton Library, I have researched and written articles on this, no Presidential Library, with the exception of the Johnson Library in Austin comes anywhere near that number. Are you going to plan a vacation or special trip to Little Rock to see the Clinton library, I think not. I hate saying it but we have no real attractions here. I wish Clinton would take his Sun King Monument to himself and go away somewhere else.

I saw this the other day and as I read it I found that Miss Brian was a front line entertaniner of the troops during W.W. II and spent the XMAS of 1944 with the soldiers at Bastonge when the Germans attacked and the Battle of the Bulge started. What a brave woman, this would make a great story to tell in a tv movie or feature film. May God Bless Her.

If you have noticed the last 15 or so the critics and the Academy for that matter have singled out mostly Art House type films for all the so called awards. And in the process have shoved down our throats a lot of left wing drivel passing for a movie. I lost interest in the Academy Awards a long time ago.
Now as I write this I am watching "The White Cliffs of Dover" a real tear jerker from 1944 but it is a hell of a lot better than most anything else out there.
  • Spielberg's alien tale is 'Taken' to cable

Well after 22 hours of story telling by Spielberg & others we ended the show with a "Thud" and the series ended up being a "Dud".
With all the time alloted for such an ambitious project I expected a great deal more. It didn't have to be special effects driven to work it needed to tell a better story and also have some better actors.
What could have been a marvelous, fascinating story turned out to be at best a muddling soap opera.
There were times that some aspects were explored okay and some that took us up to a point then left us there without any explanation as to what happened. Case in point was Mrs. Clark, they took us up to where her son left her and then we never saw her again till her death scene.
Some periods of time were largely skipped over and we never knew what happened to some of the characters.
And those two scenes where Mary Crawford (a) had her Father killed, then (b) where she shot and killed her lover and confidant, were either of those really neccessary?
The bottom line is that Spielberg squandered a great opportunity to tell a truly great story starting where he did and what he gave us was basically a Third Rate 22 hour slow moving soap opera.

Regardless of Mike Bloomberg this is the smart move. With the Democrats going to Boston instead of New York this would be a great goodwill gesture and help build on the post 9-11 Goodwill by Bush. The Democrats may have abandoned you but the GOP is here for you. It may help in the 2004 elction and enable Bush to make New York competitive and win.
  • Who’s Most Likely to Get Whacked During New Soprano Season?

Just got watching the last episode of the season. What a disappointment. Here the last two episodes of the season are leading up to a mob war between New Jersey and New York, either Johnny Sack is going to get whacked or it's going to be Carmine. What happens, Nothing!!!!!
It;s got to be some BS on Tony and Carmela getting a divorce.
No doubt about it the first two seasons were great, it started going down in the third and by the fourth it is starting to really stink. So it is with writing a tv show but in this instance each season is only 12 or 13 episodes and David Chase and his writers have a great luxory of time to write something good. But this season fell very flat and it could have been more. People watch this thing not because of Tony and his relationship with his family but of the relationship and dynamics of what is going on in the crime family. We all want to see something happen and be entertained. Next season is supposed to be the last one, lets hope it goes out with a bang!!!!

As much as I like Forbes I doubt that they will pick him for Treasury. Larry Kudlow would be by far the best pick for Treasury Secretary. He is very articulate and believes in supply side economics and I really think he could move this Administration and the economy like no one else.
  • President Johnson awarded Silver Star?

    jjhunsecker to OldCorps
The main reason he got a Silver Star was that FDR wanted to keep Johnson in his good graces and voting for whatever FDR sent up to the House which Johnson did. It was of course a complete sham he got such a medal. I believe that the History Channel covered this in a program where Robert Caro was interviewed as well as I think either the last crewman alive from that crew or a son of one of them.
