You must see this ad where a girl is depicted preparing to undergo a gender-mutilation procedure with Talarico portrayed as the doctor.

The original “Daisy” ad, aired during Johnson’s presidential campaign against Republican Barry Goldwater, depicted a young girl counting the petals of a flower before transitioning into a nuclear countdown and explosion. I am old enough to remember this ad. If Goldwater had won, America would be better off today.

Actually, it’s mostly rock and cliff on the Pacific side. The vast majority of the population and cities are on the Chinese side. I have lived in Taiwan and have traveled the entire island.

Would you explain how you have come to the conclusion that Talerico will win. Paxton defeated Cornyn in the primary by 28 points. Surely he can win over this weirdo by at least a small margin.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Talarico’s “church” is a political organization masquerading as a church. They should lose their tax exemption.

This guy is so heretical and weird, it is hard to understand how polls show that the is slightly ahead. I still can't imagine Texans electing this nutcase.

Should Talarico win, it will be the fault of the Republicans. Details of earlier polls show that 8% of Republicans support Talarico whereas none of the Democrats support Paxton. Probably low information Republicans. Plus the Republican establishment spent $111 million dollars trashing Paxton in the primary which has to be helping Talarico.

Defeated John Cornyn is refusing to endorse or campaign for Paxton. It appears that he would rather Talarico win.

Through June, Talarico has raised $31.6 million compared to Paxton's $9.3 million. The NRSC, SuperPACs and others raised $111 million to support incumbent Cornyn against Paxton in the primary. The Republican establishment appears to have been much more motivated to defeat Paxton in the primary than they are to defeat Talarico in the general election.

It is good to see that the RINOs that tried to impeach Paxton are now at least appearing to support him in the general.

It is good to see the DOJ cracking down on illegal naturalization. I would like to see the words "deportation" after "denaturalization."

According to The Texas Immigration Data Portal, almost 6 million individuals in Texas are immigrants, equating to roughly 20 percent of the current population. An estimated 2 million of those individuals are in the state illegally.

That is an incredibly high percentage of immigrants. Open borders and immigration are weapons being used by the Democrats to turn Texas blue.

It appears that about half of Michigan Democrats are Communists, Muslim, antisemites or any combination of the three.

Are those powered by solar and or wind?

Is this a serious question? These are sets of natural gas internal combustion engines each powering a generator.

There’s probably some fine print that allows them to use the grid if the generators go down, which they will within a few weeks. Then NJ is on the hook.

The press release claims that they are an "island" separated from the grid. Having multiple generators allows for downtime for maintenance of individual generators while continually providing service for the data center.

From a press release from the Sierra Club, New Jersey Chapter: "The data center will be powered by their own on-site natural gas power generation inclusive of 36 Bergen Engine units with a combined 403 MW potential (beyond the 300MW capacity), an existing natural gas pipeline, and some power provided by Atlantic City Electric."

Construction began in early 2025 despite not having final permits from the NJDEP, and has continued behind concrete walls with a completion goal of November 2026.

The data center is to be located in Vineland, NJ according to the website. Are there any freepers in NJ aware of the project?

In other words, 474GW would be enough to power 356 million households!

Gov. Abbott appears to be putting a hold only on permits for data centers being connected to the grid. The hold doesn't appear to apply to data centers providing their own electricity and not connected to the grid.

The RNC has greatly benefited Talarico’s campaign by spending almost $90 million in the primary portraying Paxton as corrupt and immoral in an attempt to save incumbent Cornyn. For the RNC, it is more important to save an incumbent in the primary than to win in the general.

I had to look up the meaning of "turgid": Turgid (of an organ or living tissue) swollen or firm, usually because of being full of liquid.
