The reviews on the pizza are generally positive. The black crust isn’t burnt, but it is just a gimmick. (It’s black to make some kind of racial statement.)
It’s also an attempt to sell upscale pizza out of a strip mall location. The exterior looks nice for a strip mall, but the interior looks more inviting for carry-out.
There are two far superior options within 4 miles - Hall’s Pizza Kitchen and Empire Slice House. If you’re in that neighborhood already, that’s too much of a walk. But I’m already driving two hours to get to the city, so it doesn’t matter to me if I go 2 miles east or west off of I-235.
