I actually don’t believe that ANYONE who can get themselves elected to president twice, or even once, is “dumb as a board”. Though I do understand the sentiments when people bash the leader of the opposing party.

The favorite theme among the Lamestream Media, Hollywood, and the Corrupt-0-Crat party is that “Bush is dumb as a board”.

Is it true? Is Bush, a “good man” - as Obama & others say. Or is Bush really “dumb as a rock”? Or is he just a good hearted man who tried his best, meant well, and got blindsided by 9/11 along with all the rest of us?

Bush got himself elected twice to the most powerful position in the world. It takes a bit of savvy to make that happen and only a tiny fraction of the 350 million population is ever able to achieve it. Your chances of getting elected as president are probably LESS than winning Powerball or some other big lottery.

So while Obama is a dope on some fronts, he is also intelligent, and fairly articulate. And a gifted orator - right now Republicans don’t have anyone to match his oratory skills. I can admit that. And, he’s as hateful, evil, corrupt and hypocritical as they come. All with a charming manner.

Know your enemy. Always good advice.

Hitler was also sufficiently intelligent. Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, Chavez, you name it. They were smart enough to get the Sheeple to fall sway. I don’t believe the president of any nation is the dumbest person in that nation. Far from it.

This type of greatly expanded, blanket spying on every American is not about “getting the terrorists”.

It’s about control of the Sheeple and compiling lists.

Potential future target lists. You think the NSA isn’t “stacked” and staffed with Obama’s people to the extent they possibly can get away with it?

And you want to attack a Patriot exposing this corruption?

It’s about conditioning you slowly but surely over time to accept it and slowly but surely give up your rights.

It’s about Barack Hussein Obama’s stated 1984 vision and objective to “Fundamentally Change America”.

When you have gotten Conservatives to defend Obama’s abuses and attack the whistle blowers - the Left has won. And “fundamentally changed America”.

Otherwise, what’s the purpose of such an egregious over-reach since they couldn’t even stop the Obama Boston Bombers even after the Russians told them - “These guys are going to attack America”. They couldn’t stop Major Dirtbag - the Ft. Hood terrorist. Etc., etc.

You have become FAR too trusting in what passes for “government” today. Your idealistic vision of government is gone now.

They don’t like you. In fact some of them downright hate you.

And THAT is why they are spying on your every thought, move and whatever they can get on you.

Think this isn’t leading in a very dangerous direction?

Cool! Glad we were able to clear that up for you. Encourage people to use that and draw that as a comparison to now regarding what happens when we allow the government to get out of control and trample the constitution out of hysteria.

Two groups are emerging who are together both attacking Snowden.

Both are two sides of the same, tyrannical, big government loving, all trusting in Big Brother - coin.

The far Left and the Far Right. Both now hate Snowden for both different and the same reasons.

The far Left hates anyone or anything that makes the slightest bit of trouble for the Regime or exposes the Left or the Regime’s lies and corruption in any way. Thus they hate Snowden.

The far Right hates anyone who questions authority or the government or exposes constitutional violations of the government.

The far Left would excuse Obama if he grabbed an innocent Conservative and executed him or her live on national TV - because he felt like it.

The far Right would also excuse Obama for the same thing - as long as the word “national security” was thrown in there somewhere.

Japanese American citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Law abiding, taxpaying American citizens. Rounded up by the RAT party and thrown into concentration camps. Right here in America.

Where the Dems wipe their collective azzes with the constitution once to THAT degree, they’ll do it again and again.

And now we’re seeing it - again and again. And THAT’s what makes it relevant to the thread.

I agree. Notice how the media has tried to pretty much bury or marginalize this bit of history ever since - since it was the Democrats who did it!

But can you prove that with 100% certainty - and would they ever admit it if it happened?

We also thought the government - under a DEMOCRAT supermajority - would never round up hundreds of thousands of hard working, taxpaying, law abiding American citizens, load them into boxcars like the Nazi Regime, and ship them off to concentration camps right here in America.

If the Democrats were THAT willing and eager to violate the constitution to THAT degree once, they’ll do it again and again. And now they are proving it, once again. And we hear the same old mealy mouthed excuses and lack of principal for violating our constitution from the same old crowd on both the Left and the Right.

Oh and it took Ronald Reagan to officially apologize for it decades later and billions in taxpayer money to settle the resulting civil suits.

Yep. Far more than I believe in, trust or have faith in Obama, his hateful, racist, tyrannical regime, or anyone who aids, abets and supports the regime.

Snowden comes across as articulate, principled and intelligent. Obama has mastered being charming and is indeed a skilled teleprompter orator, even conservatives have to admit it, but so has Satan - if you believe in that concept - as an illustration.

Pretty ironic that American Patriots who have exposed violations of our rights on an unprecedented scale have to escape the murderous hatred and wrath of the Regime - by going to China! World gets more upside down daily.

Nothing and I mean NOTHING will excuse anything that Obama has done or the sickening depths of the hypocrisy from what he and his party ran on and attacked the last president 24/7 for purely partisan reasons.

The proof of that? Now they are twisting into miserable pretzels trying to find cover for and justify Obama.

Come on, you can’t be trying to find cover for the regime and it’s overreach and abuses now can you? Why? It’s not worth it. He already has the vast majority of the MSM attempting to provide him cover 24/7.

The reason The Regime has gotten away with so much has been as we know because the media has been gleefully covering Zero’s ass and the lack of whistleblowers. Whereas before the media was in full attack mode 24/7 against Bush and lauded whistleblowers as great Patriot heroes.

The Regime is starting to crack from the intense pressure of it’s crimes, arrogance, corruption and abuses. We need a lot more Snowdens to step forward under the shelter of The People who demand justice and redress of their grievances. Instead of the sneering, snarky, contemptuous, dismissiveness that conservatives have been subjected to until it’s gotten so bad that they simply can no longer maintain a shred of credibility - and still try to carry Obama’s water.

“Those willing to sacrifice liberty for a little security - deserve neither”

How many times do we need to remind ourselves of that?

THE VERY ARGUMENT and “LOGIC” being fronted to attempt to disarm you is all about giving up your freedom so that you must rely on government minders who will never show up in time to save you or your family. Give up your liberty for false security. No thanks.

I agree. Those defending and siding with Obama on this are now on the side of tyranny. The government has no right to spy on your every thought, call, click etc.

I think a whole lot of Republicans are going to be very surprised when they get thrown out of office for tool-like taking the side of The Regime on this massive over-reach, arrogance and dismissiveness on blanket spying on innocent citizens.

If we can’t trust the Regime’s IRS with our personal political views and health care then we can’t trust the Regime with ANYTHING!
