SALT LAKE CITY — Some Utah Republicans complained they ran into difficulties when they attempted to vote online Tuesday in their party's presidential preference election. Both the state party offices and the help line set up by Smartmatic, the Florida-based company handling the online voting for the GOP, were deluged with calls from Utahns having problems casting their vote.

Trump in Salt Lake City Images and Observations This was an event held on very short notice, less than 24 hours, and included a venue change. The reason Mr. Trump came was that with Little Marco out of the running, the state's 40 delegates are in play. If Cruz gets 50% of the vote, he gets all of the delegates, otherwise they are allocated proportionally. With The Mailman (not Karl Malone, Kashich) in play (thank you, Ohio), Mr. Trump can capture a nice chunk. Utah votes on Tuesday, and it is a combination of caucus and on-line (must be registered...

Attention Utah Trump Supporters - Donald will hold an event at the Utah State Fairpark (the State Fairgrounds) Friday at 9:00 PM. ... and ex-governor just endorsed Kasich, so looks like Cruz is not the golden child for the LDS church. This puts Utah's 40 delegates into play. Can I get an "amen"???

(The same day Arizona will allocate 58 delegates with a population of 6.8 million, and American Samoa 9 delegates.)...

On MSNBC this morning, Larry Kudlow said any attempt by Mitt Romney or other senior Republicans in the establishment to stop Trump "would have no impact." Sign up for tickets to the GOP presidential debate (yes... another one) in Salt Lake City on March 21. Trump and Cruz folks - we have to counter the Utah GOP that supports the Cabana Boy.

SALT LAKE CITY — The Republican National Committee announced it will be holding a presidential debate in Salt Lake City in March. The debate, which will be held on March 21 in Salt Lake City, was decided upon by the RNC's Debate Committee after the committee met on Saturday and decided another debate would be beneficial to the selection process. The March debate will be the first presidential debate the state of Utah has hosted. "Look at the punch Utah has nationally in Republican circles. The Republican committee recognizes that," Utah GOP Chairman James Evans said. "Utah has become a...

It is awful watching the news media objectify Cliven Bundy and there is no easy corrective to the situation. It may help, however, to know a little more about Bundy’s history and what he means when he says that his family has ranched in the area since the late nineteenth century.
