After talking with my pro-Obama/universal health care proponent relative, I decided to craft my own health care plan. I figure I'll post it here for either laughs or comment. Less than 1000 pages, costing less than $1.5 Trillion dollars, and designed to save America from bankrupcy: The goals for a successfully run health care system is as follows: Covers the maximum number of citizens with the fewest dollars. Delivers the highest value of health care. Encourages innovation and technological improvements and efficencies. Discourages waste and poor health habits.

Wifey and I are moving to a military base. She is going active duty as an Army nurse. We are looking at Ft. Campbell, Ft. Knox and Ft. Bragg. Can anybody make any recommendations? Thanks!

What is the consequences of having no bailout? Bush & Paulsen seem like they are desperate for some sort of bailout. We've been told that we could be facing some apocolyptic scenario if there is no government interaction. While we all understand that the Community Reinvestment Act, corrupt politicians, a huge US Debt, and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac is responsible for most of this mess, what I don't understand is the incredible urgency behind a "fix."
