Millions of federal and local tax dollars have been paying for free internet access and computers for thousands of Tampa residents. It’s a federal stimulus program unique to Tampa that some people are calling government waste.

34 men and women have been arrested in an undercover prostitution sting called "Operation Hot Date." Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd says undercover detectives talked to women who advertised themselves on Craigslist from Thursday through Saturday, September 10-12.

A local church switched from Pepsi products to Coca-Cola, but it's not because they don't like the taste of the product. The Bell Shoals Baptist church in Brandon got rid of the products as part of the American Family Association's boycott.

Some parents are concerned about a speech President Barack Obama plans to make to students across the country on Tuesday. The White House says the speech is mainly intended to be motivational, telling children about the benefits of education and inspiring them to be good students.

SPRING HILL, FL -- While showing off her JROTC uniform, 16-year-old Heather Lawrence told us joining the Army is her next big goal, to follow in the footsteps of her father and grandfather. "Our flag represents everything that our country is," she said. The teen says an issue over the American flag is why she was written up and handed a five-day suspension from Springstead High School this week for criticizing a Muslim student. Heather says the other girl was sitting down during the Pledge of Allegiance.
