Where can one purchase this book in the USA? I saw where it was to be published in English. I checked B&N and Amazon. Also did a search on the book title, which returned lots of chaff.

Is the Iranian formal naval chief speaking from a position of bluster or from his faith in the naval strategy of swarming your bigger opponent with many (100) small craft? Read the NY Times article of January 12, 2009 titled “Iran Encounter Grimly Echoes ’02 War Game” by Thom Shanker (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/12/washington/12navy.html). While I am always suspicious of NY Times material, I thought about the substance of the article when I read this post. Can such a strategy overwhelm the US Navy’s defensive systems and sailors ability to address all the inbound threats?

Bush! Bush! Bush!

NOLA has dealt with hurricanes since its founding. Why haven't the local and regional governments developed better competency for dealing with this much predicted disaster? The NOLA government knows the makeup of its population. If there are tens of thousands too poor to afford transportation out of the city, why didn't the local government prepare for these services? Why are over one hundred NOLA school buses sitting in a flooded parking lot? Why weren't they used to evacuate some of the residents? Where was the food and sanitary supplies for the people dumped in the Superdome? Is this good planning or did the local officials not understand the severity of the approaching storm? They had access to the same weather forecasts as the Bush administration.

If the Bush administration was slow to respond to this disaster, I wonder how much of the delay was caused by over estimating the competence and preparedness of the local governments.

Did the FBI investigate the million man march because they were off by a couple of zeros in the organization's count?

Does the National Organization of Women inflate its membership?

Are union claims of overwhelming membership support for the Democrat Party padded? Do union leaders donate money and time to political parties in proportion to membership voting patterns?

How many other liberal organizations make claims wildly disproportionate to reality?

Will NBC report on these instances? How would NBC react if the FBI investigated these organizations?

Congress should pull NPR's and PBS's non-profit, tax exempt status. There are enough alternative outlets that NPR and PBS don't need a tax advantage. Let the two outlets compete for advertising dollars like the rest of the industry.

The major networks have been pushing their voter fraud reporting telephone number the past week. The concern that I have is that the same liberal filters that bias their reporting of the news will bias what they focus on in reporting fraud allegations. Are there independent blogger sites where voter fraud activity can be reported and documented? How about a list by state to report incidents of fraud by the Democratic party?
