Since the 1990's the United Nations has dictated to the United States who is allowed be part of the Refugee Resettlement Program. President Obama issued a letter to Congress requesting an astonishing 80,000 Muslim refugees. In his letter he states " justified by humanitarian concern or in otherwise national concern". According to Refugee Settlement Watch,these refugees are eligible for the following benefits: TANF,food stamps, housing,supplemental social security,child care benefits,energy assistance,educatinal grants and loans,and health care.
