In the late 1970s, the Clintons and McDougals buy land in the Ozarks with mostly borrowed funds. The Clintons get 50% interest with no cash down. The plot, known as Whitewater, is fifty miles from the nearest grocery store. The Washington Post will report later that some purchasers of lots, many of them retirees, "put up houses or cabins, others slept in vans or tents, hoping to be able to live off the land." HRC writes Jim McDougal, "If Reagonomics works at all, Whitewater could become the Western Hemisphere's Mecca." More than half of the purchasers will lose their plots thanks to the sleazy form of financing used.

The McDougals will be among a number of close HRC's friends and business associates who will end up in jail. Others include her law partner Webster Hubbell and financial middle man David Hale.

Two months after commencing the Whitewater scam, Hillary Clinton invests $1,000 in cattle futures. Within a few days she has a $5,000 profit. Before bailing out she earns nearly $100,000 on her investment. Many years later, several economists will calculate that the chances of earning such returns legally were one in 250 million.

Hillary Clinton makes a $44,000 profit on a $2,000 investment in a cellular phone franchise deal that involves taking advantage of the FCC's preference for locals, minorities and women. The franchise is almost immediately flipped to the cellular giant, McCaw.

Jim McDougal tries to prevent state agencies from shutting down his S&L, which has been providing cash for the Whitewater operation. According to the Washington Times, Ms. Clinton is put on a $2000 a month retainer by the S&L. Ms. Clinton will later claim not to have received any retainer nor to have been deeply involved with Madison.

During the 1992 campaign, Hillary Clinton defends her role in the Madison Guarantee S&L scandal by saying, "I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas. But what I decided to do was pursue my profession, which I entered before my husband was in public life." Forgotten, however, is what inspired this homily: accusations that Ms. Clinton had represented Whitewater business partner Jim McDougal's S&L before her husband's government. Here's what the New York Times reported on March 17, 1992: "Hillary Clinton said today that she did not earn 'a penny' from state business conducted by her Little Rock law firm and that she never intervened with state regulators on behalf of a failed Arkansas savings and loan association. . . "

Records will show that she did, in fact, represent Madison before the state securities department. After the revelation, she says, "For goodness sakes, you can't be a lawyer if you don't represent banks."

Susan McDougal recalls Ms. Clinton coming in and drumming up the business. Ms. McDougal tells the Washington Post: "The problem was finances, her finances." The Washington Times quotes an unnamed Clinton business associate who claims the governor used to "jog over to McDougal's office about once a month to pick up the [retainer] check for his wife." Jim McDougal's version of the story, according to the LA Times, is that Clinton asked him to throw some legal work his wife's way to help the Clintons out of a financial crunch: "I hired Hillary because Bill came in whimpering that they needed help."

Hillary Clinton writes Jim McDougal enclosing a power of attorney for him to sign "authorizing me to act on your behalf with respect to matters concerning Whitewater Development Corporation." Another power of attorney is enclosed for Susan McDougal. The power of attorney includes the right to endorse, sign and execute "checks, notes, deeds, agreements, certificates, receipts or any other instruments in writing of all matters related to Whitewater Development Corporation." This letter, uncovered in 1993 by Jerry Seper of the Washington Times, directly contradicts the claim of the Clintons that they were "passive shareholders" in Whitewater.

From a 1996 Chicago Tribune editorial: "The legal issues will sort themselves out in time. But one thing has become all too clear. Bill and Hillary Clinton and their aides have made a concerted effort to deceive official investigators and the American public with half truths and outright lies . . . It's not clear what the Clintons want to conceal, but it's clear that they have made extraordinary efforts to do so."

The American Spectator reports in 1996 that on her Asian tour, Hillary Clinton told New Zealand television that she had been named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Sir Edmund, however, was an unknown beekeeper the year of Mrs. Clinton's birth.

The Spectator also reports that HRC served on the board of a corporation about which serious questions have been raised concerning its role in the pre-Gulf War arms pipeline to Iraq.

A drug dealer donates $20,000 to the DNC, attends a Christmas reception hosted by Hillary Clinton, has his photo taken with the Clintons and Al Gore and then -- three weeks later -- is arrested for smuggling 6,000 pounds of cocaine into the United States. It should have come as no surprise to anyone involved. After all, Jorge Cabrera had already served two prison sentences -- one for trying to bribe a grand jury witness and the other for filing a false income tax return. Later he will be back in the news when a businessman pleads guilty to laundering $3.5 million for Cabrera between 1986 and 1996.

"I see the White House is like a subway -- you have to put in coins to open the gates." -- Clinton contributor Johnny Chung talking about the $50,000 he gave Hillary Clinton's top aide while seeking VIP treatment at the White House.

Spilling some of the beans on her "close friend" Ron Brown, Nolanda Hill tells Prime Time Live that Brown used drugs while Commerce Secretary and considered taking a big payoff from Vietnam to get trade restrictions lifted but dropped the idea when he got a tip that FBI was on the case. Hill also says that Brown thought it was Hillary who placed John Huang in a Commerce Department job. Huang left the Lippo Group -- with a golden parachute of around $800,000 -- to work for Commerce. Brown orders a top secret clearance for Huang. While at Commerce, Huang visits the White House about 70 times, is briefed 37 times by the CIA, views about 500 intelligence reports, and makes 281 calls to Lippo banks.

A federal judge issues a fine for a quarter million dollars because, "The Executive Branch of the government, working in tandem, was dishonest with this court." At issue is the composition of Hillary Clinton's health task force, a body stacked with those from the medical industry who would gain most from its faux reforms.

Number of times Hillary Clinton says "I don't recall" or its equivalent in a statement to a House investigating committee: 50. Number of paragraphs in this statement: 42

Starr decides not to pursue the FBI file matter after an investigation that included a nine-minute interview with HRC over tea and coffee. FBI Director Louis Freeh calls the handling of the FBI tapes an "egregious violation of privacy . . . without justification."

"Mr. Starr also botched the investigation into the White House's illicit use of confidential FBI files on 900 Republican opponents. He used FBI agents to probe misconduct involving the FBI itself. Needless to say, they came up empty handed. A civil suit on behalf of the victims has since uncovered evidence that the purloined files were part of a campaign of political espionage ordered by Hillary Clinton herself. The dirt in the files, including raw data on congressional leaders, was fed into computers.

Presumably it was later used for blackmail, or fed to media surrogates for the systematic smearing of Republicans." -- Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, London Telegraph.

After quitting the Justice Department and before going to jail, Hubbell is a busy man. He meets with Hillary Clinton, and follows up by getting together with major scandal figures John Huang, James Riady, and Ng Lapseng. Riady and Huang go to the White House every day from June 21 to June 25, 1994 according to White House records. Hubbell has breakfast and lunch with Riady on June 23. Four days later -- and one week after Hubbell's meeting with Hillary -- the Hong Kong Chinese Bank, jointly owned by Lippo and the Chinese intelligence services, send $100,000 to Hubbell.

"Through discovery in its civil lawsuit against the Clinton Commerce Department, Judicial Watch also has found evidence that President Clinton condoned and participated in a scheme, conceived by First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and approved by the President, to sell seats on U.S. Department of Commerce trade missions in exchange for political contributions. ~~~ In addition to the illegal sale of taxpayer financed services, such as seats on trade missions, for political contributions, the President and Mrs. Clinton have illegally solicited and received monies directly from private citizens and others. The creation and use of legal defense funds is not only prohibited under federal law, but they have proved to be a means whereby lobbyists, influence peddlers and foreign powers have tried to influence the Administration, contrary to U.S. national security interests. In sum, Judicial Watch has uncovered a pattern of conduct by this President and his agents that indicates he has run, in effect, a criminal enterprise from the White House to obtain and maintain hold on the Office of the President of the United States. Indeed, he is likely in violation of the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). " -- Judicial Watch

"Communist Party cadres should study the speeches of Hillary Clinton because she offers a very good example of the skills of propaganda. Her sentences are short and stimulating. That's why she gets a lot of applause. But Chinese people have a habit of giving long speeches in which the sentences are long and tedious." -- Yu Quanyu, director of the Chinese Academy of Social Studies, in Ideological and Political Work Studies.

Former White House FBI agent Gary Aldrich reports that Hillary Clinton told the Secret Service agents in public to "stay the fuck back, stay the fuck away from me! Don't come within ten yards of me or else!" When her guards have argued with her, she had said, "Just fucking do as I say, okay?"

Hillary Clinton and David Watkins move to oust the White House travel office in favor of World Wide Travel, Clinton's source of $1 million in fly-now- pay-later campaign trips. The White House fires seven long-term employees for alleged mismanagement and kickbacks. The director, Billy Dale, charged with embezzlement in the HRC-organized frame-up, will be acquitted in less than two hours by the jury.

White House-assigned FBI agent Gary Aldrich agrees to help trim the Christmas tree in the Blue Room. Aldrich is surprised to find a small clay ornament of 12-lords-aleaping. Among the things that were aleaping on the 12 lords are their erections. Also provided by Hillary Clinton and her staff: ornaments made of drug paraphernalia such as syringes and roach clips, three French hens in a menage á trois, two turtle doves fornicating, five golden rings attached to a gingerbread man's ear, nipple, belly button, nose, and penis.

Hillary Clinton's attempts to conceal the fact that she had $120,000 of editorial help in preparing a book-like substance.

Billing records documenting HRC's work on the Castle Grande development scam are discovered in the family quarters of the White House. HRC says she has no idea how they got there.

Judicial Watch sues Hillary Clinton in a $90 million lawsuit on behalf of the 900 persons whose FBI files were taken by the White House. She is also a defendant in a shareholder suit filed against Loral and others over the sale of slots on public trade missions. The FBI files case is expected to reach trial next year.

Hi All, I have a copy of the declassified FBI documents that tie the Clintons and many of their administration to a communist organization called the Institute For Policy Studies. In all there are more than 50 pages to this document file, so I'll do a summary. It may take a few notes:

The Institute For Policy Studies was formed in 1963 by Peter Weiss and Cora Rubin, daughter of Samuel Rubin. The organization is funded by the Samuel Rubin Foundation.

Samuel Rubin was a member of the Comintern of the Communist Party, which was the inner circle of Lenin, and helped foment the Russian peasants into revolt in 1917. He left Russia at some point during the revolution, and came to the U.S., where he made a fortune using the name, "Faberge", for his cosmetic company. The Faberge family, who were "White Russian" (non-communist), and who also fled Russia, sued Rubin for using their name for a company whose profits supported the spread of communism, and won a settlement. Rubin was assisted in his financial endeavors by billionaire Armand Hammer. Hammer has long been suspected of being a member of the Communist Party. After the downfall of the USSR, the KGB files were opened and Hammer's membership in the Communist Party was proven. The Soviet publication, Izvestia, confirms that Armand Hammer was a Soviet agent, who personally carried the money from Lenin to the United States to establish the Communist Party USA.

Back to the Institute For Policy Studies (IPS). The FBI has compiled 2705 pages of documents on this organization, 1743 of which are available to the public through the Freedom of Information Act. The FBI has withheld 962 pages of documents, and one of the reasons given is, "specifically authorized by an Executive (Presidential) Order to be kept secret in the interest of national defense." Another reason for withholding the 962 documents was given as follows.... "Records or information were compiled for law enforcement purposes and could reasonably be expected to disclose the identity of a confidential source."

"The IPS is described as a Washinton-based "Think Factory", which helped train extremist who incite violence in the United States and whose educational research serves as a cover for intrigue and political agitation" (FBI file 175-398). Another description given is that the "IPS apparently exercises considerable influence in the New Left Movement and may have as its goal the destruction of the United States Government/" Mainstream media, usually very liberal, has described the IPS as follows: Wall Street Journal... "A funnel for disinformation", Forbes.... "A radical Washington propaganda mill", National Review... "The perfect intellectual front for Soviet activities which would be resisted if they were to originate openly from the KGB."

DEREK SHEARER, a member of IPS, has been described as one of Bill Clinton's closest friends. Roger Altman (former Sec. of Treasury) stated, "Derek is a very old and close friend of Bill Clinton's, and among the advisors he is probably the oldest and closest friend." George Stephanopolis describes Shearer as both "a friend and advisor". Derek Shearer is the step-brother of Strobe Talbott, who was the former editor of TIME magazine, and Bill Clinton's roommate at Oxford. Derek's sister, Brooke Shearer, is a very close friend of Hillary Clinton, and is her frequent travelling companion. Prior to the 1992 election, Clinton appointed Shearer as his top economic advisor (Wall Street Journal - Sept. 11, 1992).

In 1980, Shearer wrote a book titled, "Economic Democracy: The Challange of the 1980's", in which he explained, "Socialism has a bad name in America and no amount of wishful thinking is going to change that... the words, economic democracy are an adequate replacement." Shearer proposed the economic dismantling of American's free enterprise system and that all businesses be controlled by government socialist planners. Shearer states that his 'economic democracy' is fashioned in part according to the teachings of Antonio Gramsci, founder of the Italian Communist Party, and one of this century's formost Marxist theoreticians (from Shearer's book). In the 1970's Derek Shearer created and ran the platform of Tom Hayden in Santa Monica, California. The platform was called the Campaign for Economic Democracy. Shearer's wife was elected mayor of Santa Monica, and she appointed Derek and fellow activists to the City Commission. Shearer's anti-business edicts crippled Santa Monica's economy and earned that city the nickname of the "Peoples Republic of Santa Monica." Shearer has spoken of a plan to elect a socialist minded President who would help advance his Economic Democracy program (National Review, Sept. 14, 1992).

STROBE TALBOTT, as mentioned above, is the step-brother of Derek Shearer, and formerly an editor of TIME magazine, and earlier a roommate of Bill Clinton's at Oxford. Talbott is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Since it's founding in 1921, the CFR has been dedicated to forming a socialist world government under the auspices of the U.N. Other members of the CFR, include IPS co-founder, Richard Barnet, and Cora Rubin (dau. of Samuel Rubin), Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and most of Clinton's cabinet.

LEON PANETTA, LES ASPIN, and ANTHONY LAKE are all members of the IPS, with Anthony Lake serving in the capacity of instructor at the Washington-based school. All three are CFR members as well.

MORTON HALPRIN, a member of IPS, was considered (but rejected) as Assistant Secretary of Defense under Aspin. Halprin has been one of the foremost supporters of turning U.S. troops over to the U.N. command. Halprin was a friend and assistant of Frank Donner, a member of the Communist Party USA, who advocated the dissolution of all U.S. intelligence agencies.

EDWARD F. FEIGHAN (D-Ohio, retired) was Bill Clinton's campaign Communications Director. Feighan has worked closely with both the IPS and the North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA), which was co- founded by Jahn Gerassi and Michael Locker of Castro's Venceremos Brigade (FBI File SF 100-66966 AIRTEL & FBI file NYFO #105-86160). NACLA recieved major funding from IPS, and has become a direct support group for Marxist insurgencies worldwide.

JOHNETTA COLE is closely associated with IPS and other anti-American groups. Cole was in a leadership role in the Pro-Castro Vencenemos Brigade, which was controlled by the Communist Party USA in conjunction with Havana. She was a founding sponsor of the U.S. Peace Council, a Communist Party USA front organization.

HILLARY CLINTON first had contact with the IPS while at Yale. She served on the board of editors of the quarterly, Yale Review of Law and Social Action. The Spring 1970 issue featured and aricle by IPS director Robert Borosage. While serving as Director and Chair of the Board of the New World Foundation in 1987/1988 Hillary Clinton gave money to several far left groups including IPS.

In addition, Hillary Clinton gave money money to pro-communist groups, who were closely associated with IPS. Hillary gave $5000.00 to the Committee in Support of the People of El Salvador (CISPES - a supporter of Marxist Salavadoran guerillas), and which has been classified as a communist front organization. Hillary gave $15,000.00 to the National Lawyers Guild, an official adjunct of the Communist Party USA. Committee on Un-American Activities, House Report 3123 on National Lawyers Guild - 1950: "NLG is the foremost legal bulwark of the Communist Party (and) it's front organizations (which) since its inception has never failed to rally to the legal defense of the Communist Party and individual members thereof, including known espionage agents." IPS Chairman, Peter Weiss, served on the Board of Trustees of the National Lawyers Guild.

The double standard slaps you in the face.

Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Ronald Taylor, a black man, allegedly guns down five whites, killing three. What followed became a textbook case on how contemporary American journalism deals with race.

The suspect's motive could not have been more clear. A black neighbor quoted Taylor as saying, "I'm gonna kill all white people."

A white maintenance man described Taylor as disruptive ever since moving into the apartment building, "Whenever he saw me, he'd call me a racist pig, or white trash, or he'd make a point of walking past me and brushing up against me. He just didn't like me."

Yet the media leaned over backwards to avoid any appearance of racism. News anchors cautioned that we don't know whether Taylor's alleged hatred against whites was the "primary" or "sole" reason for the shootings. Pardon me. When did they add that requirement?

The Hate Crimes Sentencing Enhancement Act defines hate crime as: "crime in which the defendant intentionally selects a victim, or in the case of a property crime, the property that is the object of the crime, because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, or sexual orientation of any person." No mention of hatred as a "sole" or "primary" motive.

Even the police issued mild, tentative statements about whether they considered Taylor's actions a hate crime. "There's a lot of hostility in this individual," said Wilkinsburg Police Chief Gerald Brewer, "so I think it's a little premature to simply define this as a racist event." A little premature?

In August, 1999, white supremacist Buford Furrow gunned down several people at a Jewish Community Center in Los Angeles, and shot and killed a Filipino letter carrier. In the three days following the shooting, over 150 newspapers wrote nearly 200 articles about the slaughter.

On November 11, 1999, in Kansas City, an Ethiopian man shot and killed two co-workers and wounded a third person. All the victims were white. The Ethiopian shooter, who also shot and killed himself, left a letter referring to "blood sucker" whites. To date, how many newspapers carried a story about this apparent race-based shooting? Eleven.

The killing of Wyoming gay student Matthew Shepherd brought screaming headlines and around-the-clock coverage. So did the dragging and killing of black Texan James Byrd.

Jesse Jackson parachutes into Decatur, Illinois, turning the expulsion of seven high school kids into a referendum on race. Meanwhile, in Missouri, a carjacker steals a car. He tries to push out a seat belt-strapped child, and drives at high speeds, with the boy bouncing to his death along the highway. In Michigan, a six-year-old girl is shot and killed by a six-year-old boy. In these cases, the media informs us much, much later that the bad guys are black. Were it the other way around, how long before Al Sharpton holds a press conference, a somber Kweisi Mfume of the NAACP by his side?

Atlanta Braves relief pitcher John Rocker shoots his mouth off to "Sports Illustrated," and everyone from Jesse Jackson to Jesse James piles on. But the same gang seemed strangely AWOL in the case of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Where's the somber gathering of the "black leadership" demanding that Congress pass enhanced hate crime legislation? Where's the speech by President Clinton asking some blacks to cope with their pronounced and mostly unwarranted anti-white bias?

The double standard simply astonishes. George W. Bush must apologize for speaking at Bob Jones University, given the institution's anti-Catholic statements and policy against inter-racial dating. And on the question of the Confederate flag, the media filed story after story on the Republicans' response.

Yet the media allows Al Gore's black female campaign manager, Donna Brazile, to derisively refer to the Republicans as the "party of the white boys," while suggesting black Republicans J.C. Watts and Colin Powell are Uncle Toms.

The media sits as both Al Gore and Hillary Rodham-Clinton trek to Harlem and kiss the ring of Reverend Al Sharpton, a David Duke in blackface. Nevermind that Sharpton falsely accused a prosecutor of rape. Nevermind that Sharpton turned a dispute between a black tenant and a Jewish landlord into a racial riff. Stirred up by Sharpton's rantings, a black man set fire to the building in dispute, and then shot and killed several minorities before turning the gun on himself. Nice work, Reverend.

Sooner or later, the mainstream media and the white-man-done-me-wrong black leadership must face the facts. Black/white interracial crime is almost entirely committed by blacks against whites. By ignoring this, and holding black criminals to a different standard, the media heightens tension and divisiveness.

The President's traveling Advisory Board on Race urged Americans to be candid with one another on race. Somebody tell the media.

  • Comrade Jesse Jackson

    Cup of Joe
WASHINGTON -- We've found out in recent weeks that Jesse Jackson is a financial chiseler and a marital cheat.

What most Americans still don't know about him is that he is also in bed with the American Stalinists of the Communist Party USA.

Here's the evidence of what I charge:

In the January 1984 edition of Political Affairs, "the theoretical journal of the Communist Party USA," self-described "Harlem organizer for the New York Communist Party" Kevin Mercadel boasted, "Our '84 electoral activity began with the formation of the Rainbow Coalition in Harlem in support of Jesse Jackson's campaign for the presidency." Mercadel added that the Communists were not only allowed to work in the coalition, "but, indeed, it was expected of us."

One of Jackson's top organizers is Jack O'Dell, who served as director of international affairs of the National Rainbow Coalition. He is also a Communist Party USA veteran.

The late Gus Hall, longtime boss of the Communist Party USA, endorsed Jackson's presidential campaign in 1988, as the height of "a new level of united independent political action, within and outside the Democratic Party," he said in the September-October 1988 edition of Political Affairs.

In the July 1989 edition of Political Affairs, John Holme, chairman of the Northern California political action commission of the party, wrote, "Like many of the campaigns in which Communists play an active role, the Jackson '88 campaign was an 'inner Democratic Party struggle.'"

In the March 1989 edition of Political Affairs, James Steele, a member of the executive committee of the party, wrote, "If we Communists are not prejudiced by form; if we do not have a jaundiced attitude toward inner-Democratic party struggles, our party can make a unique contribution toward helping the Rainbow achieve its goal of consolidating a mass membership organization corresponding to the size of its electoral support."

The July 1988 edition of Political Affairs notes, "In Pittsburgh, separatism was disguised with charges that 'white communist elements' took over the Jackson campaign." Apparently, even the Michael Dukakis campaign realized just how deeply infiltrated and compromised was the Jackson campaign.

Jackson was the keynote speaker at a 1985 commemoration of the 10th anniversary of "the liberation of Vietnam" sponsored by the Communist Party USA, according to the Daily World, May 7, 1985 edition.

Jackson was again the star of a Berkeley symposium July 20, 1984, sponsored by the Marxist Black Scholar magazine and including presentations by three CPUSA leaders. I could go on and on. Jackson may not be an official, card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, but he could not be serving the group's interests more if he was. The Communists love him. He's been their standard-bearer in electoral politics and grass-roots community organizing for at least 15 years.

More importantly, suggests the voluminous coverage Jackson has received in the official Communist press, he represents the party's best political hope to hijack the Democratic Party for its own purposes.

Study the issues. See if you can detect even the slightest disagreement or conflict between the positions of the Communist Party and the Rev. Jesse Jackson. I dare you. You won't find much. They are strong political allies because they agree 99 percent of the time.

Of course, it's nothing new for the Communist Party to work within the Democratic Party. They did it with Franklin D. Roosevelt. Then they split along with Henry Wallace. But they came back into the Democratic Party political fold in 1972, when George McGovern got the nomination. And they have been there ever since -- sometimes working directly on behalf of the nominee, as they did with Al Gore in 2000, and sometimes working for a dissident like Jackson.

But no "mainstream" political leader in U.S. history has ever cozied up quite so close to the Communists as Jackson.

Crook, cheat, commie with a small "c" -- does Jesse Jackson need to collect any more baggage before we dismiss him and his discredited, statist, collectivist ideas from the national debate?

  • PUSH Comes to Shove: Jesse Jackson's Empire Crumbles

    01/09/2003 8:04:04 PM PST · 1 of 70
    Cup of Joe
Just as Jesse Jackson's annual Wall Street Project Conference is about to open, longtime friends, former business associates and Wall Street observers say his financial empire appears to be headed for collapse. Dogged by a loss of political clout, personal scandal and concerns by some Wall Street professionals that Jackson has come across as "anti-American" after the Sept. 11 attacks, the activist's influence is diminishing in the business and civil rights community.

    Decline of the Jackson Empire

Jackson's empire has shrunk from more than 100 employees at the beginning of 2001 to fewer than 50 this year, according to one of Jackson's former business associates, who asked not to be identified.

Nizam Arain, spokesman for Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH coalition in Chicago, confirmed the wave of recent layoffs. "I know that that's been going on. I can't confirm the numbers," Arain told CNSNews.com.

When asked who might be able to give an accurate accounting of Jackson's employee base, Arain said, "At this point, I don't think that anyone short of Rev. Jackson himself would be prepared to give you an authoritative comment on that."

Jackson was not available for comment, however.

The latest round of employee downsizing at Jackson's three principle organizations – Rainbow/PUSH, Wall Street Project and Citizenship Education Fund – happened in December, shortly after Jackson's star-studded birthday party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, an event hosted by Barbra Streisand.

    'Washed Up'

According to sources close to Jackson, the fund-raiser did not meet expectations, and Jackson laid off an additional 17 employees in December. "He's basically washed up," said a Wall Street banker who spoke on condition of anonymity, fearing repercussions from Jackson.

"His money is drying up. The Wall Street Project is tanking. He is reeling," the banker said.

One reason for the decline of Jackson's enterprises is that after the 2000 election, Jackson lost many of his Washington allies, according to a former Jackson associate.

Janet Reno Can't Block Probes Anymore

The associate told CNSNews.com that Jackson "lost his cover" in 2001 with the departure of former President Bill Clinton and other Clinton administration officials. "He doesn't have Janet Reno to block any federal investigations anymore," the associate explained.

David Wallace, a Christian minister who attended Chicago Theological Seminary with Jackson in the 1960s, was not surprised Jackson is in financial difficulty.

Wallace, one of the founding members of Rainbow/PUSH in the 1970s, said he last saw Jackson at his Chicago office last October and he was not upbeat, saying Jackson "did comment to me that 'this year has been a rough year.'"

    Wall Street Questions Jackson's Patriotism

Adding to Jackson's woes is this week's 5th Annual Wall Street Project Conference in New York City, which is not being greeted with much enthusiasm at the New York Stock Exchange, according to Jackson's former associate.

The program is designed to promote minority participation in corporate America, with this year's conference being held from today through Friday.

According to Jackson's former associate, the NYSE contributes $400,000 annually to the Wall Street Project, which features a fundraiser on the floor of the stock exchange.

    More Nepotism

The stock exchange pays all the expenses of the event, including the tab for drinks and live music, featuring rapper Sean Combs and Jackson's daughter, singer Santita Jackson.

But sources say Jackson has angered some executives on Wall Street with his comments about the U.S. government's response to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

"Members of the New York Stock Exchange are appalled and can't understand why [Exchange Chairman] Dick Grasso is kowtowing to someone they view as anti-American," said the Wall Street banker.

Jackson has decried the U.S. bombing campaign in Afghanistan and called Attorney General John Ashcroft a terrorist "suspect [because] he threatens democracy."

Jackson has also claimed, "Too many have been intimidated by flag wearing and flag waving."

'We Are Not Part of That'

He shared the stage with then Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell at the Black World Conference in Atlanta last November when Campbell said to a receptive audience, "While the rest of the country waves the flag of Americana, we understand we are not part of that."

Raising additional questions about Jackson's patriotism are passages in the soon-to-be released book "Shakedown: Exposing the Real Jesse Jackson," by Kenneth Timmerman.

The book examines 30 years of Jackson's political activities, and Timmerman reports that Jackson has displayed an aversion to the American flag.

At a rally in Chicago just four days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Timmerman said, Jackson was less than patriotic.

"When the entire country is in a state of grief and patriotic resurgence, he wasn't flying [the flag] at his home. It wasn't on his car, it wasn't on his lapel, it wasn't on stage behind him," Timmerman told CNSNews.com . "In front of the cameras, there wasn't a flag visible in the whole place. There was no sense of expression of either mourning or grief or even of sympathy for the victims of September 11th."

According to Jackson's former business associate, Jackson's stance on the war on terrorism has made Wall Street jittery prior to next week's conference.

"Jackson is going to go in and talk about not waving the flag? In all of America you can't exceed the patriotism that exists on the trading floors and in the New York Stock Exchange. The terrorist attacks happened in their neighborhood," the former Jackson associate said.

"Having him host an event on Wall Street amounts to money from the stock exchange being used to subsidize sedition."

    'Shakedown' on Wall Street

Timmerman's book details Jackson's financial empire and reaches unflattering conclusions. "There are no benefits that accrue [for corporations] in being part of Jackson's efforts," Timmerman said.

Referring to next week's Wall Street Project, Timmerman said, "This is the fifth year he has done this project, which has no other purpose but to shakedown major Wall Street corporations," a sentiment that has been shared by others in the business arena.

"The fact that corporations are making major contributions to Jackson, raises fiduciary questions about their responsibility to their shareholders," Timmerman added.

Jackson's longtime friend David Wallace stopped short of labeling Jackson's dealings a "shakedown" but did question why his friend of more than 30 years has not been more closely scrutinized. "I think it is interesting that he has not been audited by the IRS," said Wallace. "Jesse is not above the law."

Author and former 1960s radical David Horowitz has also criticized Jackson's business tactics.

'Cry Racism and Shake the Money Tree'

"It's basically cry racism and shake the money tree," Horowitz told CNSNews.com.

Horowitz, author of the book "Hating Whitey," a critique of the civil rights establishment, called Jackson's fundraising methods "unarmed robbery."

A spokesman for Jackson's Wall Street Project was unavailable for comment, but spokeswoman Keiana Peyton of Rainbow/PUSH earlier told CNSNews.com that she suspected political opponents of Jackson want to undermine his legacy.

"Because he has been extremely vocal and an instrumental voice on several civil rights and social justice issues, perhaps they are looking for means to discredit him, " said Peyton.

According to Peyton, Jackson's political efforts have "opened the market and evened the playing field for persons who have historically been locked out of this access to business and capital."

    Black Churches Shutting Out Jackson?

Financial woes and suspicions among some in corporate America are not the only problems dogging Jackson.

As a longtime liberal advocate, Jackson has earned his political detractors. But his influence among those he seeks to represent is also in decline.

Jackson has been considered by many to be the nation's pre-eminent spokesman for black America, but his sway has been waning in recent years, in part because of personal scandal.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, seeking to replace Jackson as America's top black leader, recently told columnist George Will that Jackson's extramarital affair with an employee, which produced a child, ended Jackson's unlimited access to black churches.

Wallace agreed, noting that Jackson's actions were "an embarrassment to his congregation.

"The extramarital affair and baby forfeited Jackson's moral leadership," Wallace said. "That is not the behavior of a Christian minister."

A group of people sit down and block the entrance to a business. The leader tells the owner, "We'll leave when you change your policies." Another group of people sit down and block the entrance to a business. The leader of the second group tells the owner, "We'll leave when you pay me $500."

The National Organization for Women (NOW) says there is no legal difference between Group One and Group Two. Both, NOW claims, are "extortionists."

Why is NOW making what appears to be a ridiculous argument? Because that's the only way NOW can defend its use of the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act against pro-life protestors.

When Congress was considering RICO, Senators like Ted Kennedy and organizations like the ACLU voiced concern that RICO could be used as a weapon to crush protesters. When RICO was passed in 1970, the Vietnam War was a hot issue and the 1960's civil rights protests against segregation were recent events. So Congress, to alleviate those concerns, carefully spelled out which crimes could fall under RICO. Offenses characteristic of mobsters - crimes like murder, kidnapping, arson, robbery, extortion, illegal gambling, and dealing in narcotics - were included. However offenses associated with protesters - like trespass, obstruction, disorderly conduct, even assault, battery, resistance to arrest, and rioting - were left out of RICO. Clearly RICO targets organized crime, not organized protest.

NOW, nevertheless, sought to shoehorn its ideological arch-enemy - the pro-life movement - into RICO. In the case of NOW v. Scheidler, NOW concocted the theory that Operation Rescue-style sit-ins and other technically illegal social protest tactics qualify as "extortion," and thus "racketeering," under RICO. Amazingly, NOW convinced a federal trial judge and a three-judge federal appeals court to buy into NOW's distorted reading of "extortion."

But the day of reckoning has come. In April 2002, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to review the Scheidler case, and at oral arguments before the Court on December 4, 2002, the Justices probed NOW's peculiar legal theory with pointed questions. In the process, NOW's theory emerged in all its glory.

Would NOW's version of extortion really target virtually all illegal protest activity? The answer must be yes when you consider NOW's argument. NOW's attorney conceded that, under NOW's view, if feminists were to threaten to damage a country club's golf course - unless the club stopped discriminating against women - that would be extortion. According to NOW, demonstrations for gender equality, if they cross the line into illegal tactics (trespass, obstruction, property damage), become extortion and racketeering.

Does NOW's version of extortion produce absurd results? Consider the reasoning of NOW's attorney who contended that forcing a person to write (or not write) something is extortion, but that forcing someone to speak (or not speak) something is not. NOW says the difference is that a pen is "property," and interfering with the free use of a pen is the "obtaining of property," a requirement of extortion.

The Supreme Court should put a speedy end to such nonsense. There is a world of difference between someone who pressures a business for a payoff, and someone who pressures a business to change its policies (e.g., to stop polluting, to stop selling porno, to stop discriminating against women, etc.). NOW's failure to grasp this difference is bad policy, bad logic, and bad law.

An increasing number of public schools nationwide are becoming no-Christmas zones this year in an effort by school officials to accommodate different cultures and not offend non-Christians. Top Stories • Senators want to reach blacks • Can Giuliani clean up Mexico City? • New breed of bomb detector • Keeping their eyes on the cross

Last week, several elementary teachers in Sacramento, Calif., said they had been banned from using the word "Christmas" in class, and a mother in San Diego was barred from reading a Christmas story to a fourth-grade class. In New York, some school administrators asked teachers to limit holiday decorations to generic messages, such as "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings," and some city schools barred Nativity displays but allowed exhibition of the Jewish menorah and the Islamic star and crescent. As a result, a lawsuit has been filed. Meanwhile, music and band teachers in Maryland, Virginia and Michigan are not having students sing or play some carols, such as "Silent Night" and "The First Noel." Instead, music selections are kept "very secular" with songs such as "Let It Snow," "Frosty the Snowman" and "Jingle Bell Rock." Critics of such school policies say they have had enough. "We're at this point where no one wants to offend anyone, but you know what, I'm offended when teachers don't mention Christmas or pretend like it's not there," said Karen Holgate, director of policy at the Capitol Resource Institute, a pro-family public policy center based in California. "You will always offend someone whether you like it or not, that's just the way life is. So we need to get over this once and for all and learn to tolerate each other's differences." Others say teachers have become mindful about holiday songs and decorations after more parents began pushing sensitivity for non-Christians. "What they need to do is develop a balance in the kind of songs they are teaching to children," Wendy Wagenheim, communications director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan, told the Lansing State Journal. "Select songs that you know will not make anyone feel uncomfortable." The trend is known as the "December dilemma," when holidays such as Christmas and Hanukkah spark controversies about the display of symbols and the teaching of religions in school districts nationwide, said Charles Haynes, a senior scholar at the Virginia-based First Amendment Center. As a result, complaints or lawsuits charging the overemphasis of Christmas prompt districts to either coat schools with decorations from all religions or ban religious decorations and teachings. Both solutions are bad, Mr. Haynes said. The First Amendment permits schools to teach about world religions as long as one is not promoted above others. "Unfortunately, these actions come out of the refusal by schools to address religion properly throughout the school year," Mr. Haynes said. "The bottom line is everyone knows it's Christmas. All the kids know it's Christmas, so this is the kind of thing that makes schools places of hostility and conflict unnecessarily." In the San Juan Unified School District in Sacramento, several first-grade teachers said they were told by the principal not to say "Christmas" at school. One teacher, who has been teaching a "Christmas around the world" program for 24 years, called lawyers at the Capitol Resource Institute for help. School officials said they know nothing of the teacher's assertion. "There's no ban on Christmas," said Deidra Powell, the school district's director of communications. "We do have a policy on religious matters that doesn't preclude anyone from making religious references. Everything we do should have educational value, and staff should not interfere with students' religious beliefs. We want all of our students to feel comfortable." In local school districts, guidelines on celebrating the holidays do not allow students and teachers to show a preference for one religion. But officials said they do not prohibit teachers from saying the word "Christmas." "Federal and state laws do not allow schools to bar students from using words like Christmas," said Mychele Brickner, a Fairfax County School Board member. She said the trend toward not using the word in schools is "taking things too far." Montgomery County Public Schools officials suggest that titles include such words as "December" and "winter" for concerts held during the holiday season. Music performed for holiday concerts has to "reflect a balance between sacred and secular, popular and classic," according to guidelines. School officials said they are making an effort to be inclusive of all religions. "We try to have songs on Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa, so no one should feel excluded," said Kate Harrison, a spokeswoman for Montgomery County Public Schools. She also said decorations at school during the holidays were a mix of religious symbols. Some parents said schools act coy about certain holidays but allow others to be named. Lynn Bieber, who has a son at Bowie High School in Prince George's County, said it is not fair that schools have taken Christmas out of the holiday season, but have introduced other holidays, such as Kwanzaa. "If we are going to recognize one thing, then we should recognize others. It has to be all or nothing," she said.

I received the below 11 rules from two different people. One claimed that the it comes from Bill Gates' book Business @ The Speed of Thought, while the other claimed it came from Charles Sykes’ book Dumbing Down Our Kids. I have not personally read either of the books so I can’t tell you for sure where it originated — but the rules do make a lot of sense and I congratulate whomever is the true author of them.

Rule 1 - Life is not fair; get used to it.

Rule 2 - The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3 - You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice president with a car phone, until you earn both.

Rule 4 - If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. He doesn't have tenure.

Rule 5 - Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping; they called it opportunity.

Rule 6 - If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7 - Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parents' generation, try "delousing" the closet in your own room.

Rule 8 - Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades; they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9 - Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10 - Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11 - Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

  • Did Communists Infiltrate the Catholic Church?

As a traditional Jew, I'm deeply concerned over the plight of the Roman Catholic Church, which I consider to be the largest and most influential repository of conservative Judeo-Christian values in America today. I believe that those of us who care about the furtherance of a moral society have a stake in the future of the church as a moral force. The American church is under siege today, not only from the usual external forces but also from the weight of its own internal contradictions. The scandal of corrupt homosexual priests violating the innocence of minors in their care is, to put it mildly, a contradiction in Christian and Catholic practice and faith. When did this corruption inject itself into the system and why was the situation allowed to deteriorate to such a degree? Much has been written regarding Communist methods of infiltration. The standard method was to "bore from within" which involved Communists disguising themselves as loyalists to an organization they sought to undermine. Once gaining entry, they would gradually and subtly change the values and principles of the targeted organization. The process of "change" can take a generation. Communists have exhibited unlimited patience and supreme confidence in the ultimate attainment of their goals. Examples in America include substantial inroads by Communists into organized labor, academia, the legal profession, race relations, cultural institutions, and the government itself.

When planning to infiltrate, the Communists probe for an institutional weakness to exploit and, in the case of the Catholic Church, perhaps they perceived the weakness to reside in the all-male celibate priesthood. Did Communists send their followers, particularly homosexuals, sexual deviants, and enablers, into seminaries to become priests in order to foster a homosexual culture within the church? Homosexuals, practicing their predilections in an overwhelmingly conservative Catholic community, while given protection by well placed minded superiors, could certainly contribute to the undermining of faith in Catholicism and could unquestionably shake the credibility and moral standing of the church itself down to its very foundations. Undermining Catholic authority has been a clear and often stated goal of the Communist left. Speculation regarding how the Communists attempted to implement their program is reasonable and necessary in order to better understand the present situation.

Two former Communists, Bella Dodd and Manning Johnson, spoke on Communist infiltration of the Catholic Church. Dodd, an important Communist party lawyer, teacher and activist, converted to Catholicism in April 1952 under the tutelage of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. Stating that the Communist infiltration was so extensive that in the future "you will not recognize the Catholic Church,"Dodd also asserted that: "In the 1930's, we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within." "Right now they are in the highest places, and they are working to bring about change in order that the Catholic Church will no longer be effective against Communism." Manning Johnson, a former Communist Party official and author of "Color, Communism and Common Sense" testified in 1953 to the House un-American Activities Committee regarding the infiltration of the Catholic Church: "Once the tactic of infiltration of religious organizations was set by the Kremlin ... the Communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through infiltration of the (Catholic) Church by Communists operating within the Church itself. The Communist leadership in the United States realized that the infiltration tactic in this country would have to adapt itself to American conditions (Europe also had its cells) and the religious make-up peculiar to this country. In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available to them, it would be necessary to concentrate Communist agents in the seminaries. The practical conclusion drawn by the Red leaders was that these institutions would make it possible for a small Communist minority to influence the ideology of future clergymen in the paths conducive to Communist purposes… This policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond even our communist expectations."

As a radio talk show host and avid listener to talk radio in Boston, I've listened intently to comments by Catholics as the crisis has unfolded. Much has been said regarding the left dominance of the seminaries and a prevalence of the ideas of "liberation theology" which is a biblically contradictory Trojan horse within the Catholic gates. Establishment organs, such as the Boston Globe, continue to wring their hands over the homosexual activities of priests while supporting a homosexual agenda everywhere else. Hopefully, the Catholic flock will wake up and sweep the corruption out of their church in the same way that their founder, Jesus of Nazareth, swept the moneychangers out of the Temple.

Somewhere along the line, Bill Clinton got the notion God put him on Earth to teach your grandmother to suck eggs. Good thing for him Granny ain't around or she'd take him out to the woodshed and kick his ass.

The three ultimate intrusions in American life are a nosy neighbor who rents time on a reconnaissance satellite, a bat who decides to hibernate in your undershorts, and Bill Clinton. Clinton is like a door-to-door proctologist gone mad, Bill Clinton is into everything. He has a tapeworm's genius for personal involvement. To paraphrase the lyrics of Irving Berlin, Clinton's favorite song is "There's no business like your business - and no way to keep me out of it." Like cow flop, Bubba is all over the place. Clinton is not a President; he's a gaddamn franchise operation. He is further into everything that Monica Lewinsky's thong. When Clinton "accidentally" walks into the ladies room, the attendant shows him to his usual booth. The only neck-of-the-woods he hasn't made himself right at home is in Viet Nam.

Bill Clinton has that urgent need common to all oligarchs, autocrats, despots, tyrants, and oppressors, i.e. the determination and the tenacity to try to run everyone's life. Once he gets his teeth into something that's none of his business, he's like a gila monster. You can cut off his body but the head still hangs on.

Until Bubba came along we didn’t know there was anything wrong with America. Even if there isn’t, he doesn't see any point in waiting until the last moment to fix it. That's what Dictators are for.

Bill Clinton, in his usual intrusive manner, has taken it upon himself to decide:

which school your kids can get shot in.

what kind of sex is okay with a consenting sheep.

which fetuses will be allowed to come to term and what color they will be.

what day of the week the city will collect the garbage and what day it will be delivered to your home.

how often to "go potty" (Hillary will decide in what position to leave the toilet seat.)

which religions are okay, as long as you don't practice them.

which is the right HMO medical plan for you to die under

whether males, too, must wait for "Mr. Right" to come along

which illegal aliens shall be allowed to wade across the Rio Grande - and what rules they must follow to keep their shipment of cocaine from getting wet.

which perverts must drop their boxers and which perverts must drop their briefs

which redwood forests will be cut down and when families will be allowed to visit them and go picknicking in the shade of the stumps.

which infant will suckle and when and where they can "spit up"

which students are eligible for student loans so they can go to the right college to remain ignorant

who shall smoke, but not inhale, drink, but not swallow, have sex, but not orgasm

Well, gang, put it all together and it spells H-I-T-L-E-R. And we thought Bubba didn't have a role model!

"America" in this context, is meant to denote the United States of course. And although this should follow naturally, one can never be too presumptive as to how others may interpret one's meaning and intent. Although more than mere subtle effrontery has been displayed by America's left wing towards our basic freedoms, a full frontal assault has now been launched by one of collectivism's staunchest supporters: Democrat from Massachusetts, Senator Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy, the notorious head of the millionaire Kennedy clan.

Isn't it curious that the Kennedy clan's wealth is still fully intact from the less-than-lawful shady smuggling and insider stock trading activities of their founder, Joseph P. Kennedy? For it is hard to conclude that the Kennedy wealth was derived solely from all the public service positions held by them.

This brief assessment serves to offer up two explanations as to Ted Kennedy's proclivities towards socialist collectivism over individual freedom this Nation was founded upon. First, perhaps he views the individual actions of his father as somewhat embarrassing and politically compromising. Second, perhaps he appreciates redemption in public service as well as in the clan members' collective mutual support of each other through their numerous scandals and crises. A tendency towards both crisis management and a collective group approach to problem solving seems to be the Kennedy mantra.

All of the Kennedy liberalism tends to manifest itself in a socialist view of America, which leads therefore to the need for ever-increasing income taxes in the Marxist context. The Kennedy's extensive wealth in terms of investments and real property has obviously been imperviously shielded from the very tax regulations they always support. And since government has always been, at least for them, more easily manipulated than the press, government solutions or arrangements precluding trials in court offer the collective elixir for all human frailty.

What better way to communicate to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Six-pack across America the terrific advantages and emotional high that is obtainable through the transparency of individual talent, creativity and effort by assimilating it collectively into team play as in the success of the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl?

Again the related comments of Ted Kennedy: "At a time when our entire country is banding together and facing down individualism, the Patriots set a wonderful example showing us all what is possible when we work together, believe in each other, and sacrifice for the greater good." This is the quote from Kennedy's press release that is most offense to the brief and fleeting experiment that is our limited republican form of government and its sole reason for existence; namely, individual freedom.

The Kennedy patriarch was an individual. Each player on the Patriots plays a unique, special position, and brings to his assignment unique and individual talent. Coach Belichick is an individual. Even Ted Kennedy is an individual. And because God designed us as diversified individuals, the Founders offered their very best constitutionally to protect individual uniqueness and to limit government encroachment in our Bill of Rights.

As Rush Limbaugh pointed out Kennedy's statements are more in line with the Manifesto of the Communist Party than with our limited government republic and its individual freedoms and its resultant wealth. Now consider all of Kennedy's philosophical stances relative to his performance in the United States Senate. He believes in federal control of education. He believes in ever-increasing taxes to support ever-increasing government. He believes in a total gun ban abolishing completely a citizen's right to own firearms, thereby totally stripping the citizen of his individuality while making him totally dependent on government. Here again, personal experience and tragedy override what's in the best interest of the "greater good."

Consider Karl Marx: "Religion is the opiate of the people." By citing out of context the "separation of church and state" remark made by Jefferson, removing God from the American equation automatically removes an individual's right to life, liberty and property. It negates the rugged individualism that this country was founded on and replaces it with such non-American entities as Native Americans, Asian-Americans, African-Americans, Women, and other minorities.

It is indeed curious, that the Democrat party has always touted a special compassion and concern for the rights of "the little guy." Democrats have always been viewed as anti-business, yet the Clinton administration channeled $1.73 billion in taxpayer money to Enron belying that imagined attribute. And as concerns the little guy on a more relevant basis, what is the smallest constituency that can possibly qualify as a minority?

Armand Hammer was a Communist butcher and mass murderer Josef Stalin's "right-hand man." Those of us who love the rule of law and are demonized as "right-wingers" and "Nazis," question his "rightness," as well as his designation as a "man" considering his dedication to the enslavement of others.

Armand Hammer was as dangerous an infiltrator of American government as ever there was, with the possible exception of Communist Harry Hopkins, Franklin Roosevelt's closest advisor. Hammer bragged of buying and owning the late former Senator from Tennessee, Al Gore, Sr. It is no secret that former presidential candidate, Al Gore, Jr., acquired virtually all of his and his family's wealth from Hammer.

It should, therefore, be completely understandable, that when I see the name "Armand Hammer" anywhere in print, I associate it with the communist threat to our way of life. And nowhere is this threat more prolific and pronounced than within the Democratic Party.

Hopkins and other communists in the State Department goaded Roosevelt into challenging Japanese military imperialism, thereby provoking the attack on Pearl Harbor. These weren't just communist sympathizers or awe-struck ideologues - these were registered, card-carrying members loyal to most dangerous and despicable mass murdering communist in human history. Japanese imperialism was knocking at Stalin's back door, while Hitler's Wehrmacht was knocking at his front. A national wait-and-see attitude was in order, but not for Roosevelt, Democrats, and their communist friends.

Since Adolf Hitler attacked "Uncle Joe," Roosevelt's buddy, Democrats and Hollywood Communists have labeled anyone who opposes enforced socialism in the form of fascism and international communism as a "right wing Nazi" or "conspirator." Wasn't this what socialist Hillary Clinton called anyone who disagreed with her policies and that of her conspiring, lying, communist collaborating, traitor husband?

Our Founders created the freest, greatest nation on Earth based upon that most elevated of spiritually oriented purposes: individual human freedom. And communism crushes the individual freedoms of the masses and enslaves them to provide luxury for the few that control "the party." When Democratic Senator and adulterous drunkard, Edward "Ted" Kennedy proclaims that Democrats are feverishly working "to face down individuality," and Hillary advances that individual freedoms must be sacrificed "for the greater good," they are advocating nothing but that time-refuted political philosophy: Communism.

Communism can be likened to corruption - the more there is, the more it spreads to new virgin areas. And if Roosevelt, Clinton and Kennedy lean "left," what about former President Jimmy Carter? The socialist cabal comprising the membership of the Nobel Prize Committee just bestowed upon Jimmy "Peanuts" their worse-than-useless award, joining him forever to other such notable world peace activists as Yasser Arafat. Former President Ronald Reagan, who brought down the massive, dangerous Communist Soviet Union, did so without ever firing a shot.

Was Reagan ever considered for the Nobel Peace Prize? Of course not! And just as homosexuality is okay for everyone except former FBI Director and fervent anticommunist J. Edgar Hoover, so has Reagan been deemed a "McCarthyist" for opposing the Democrat Party's favorite communist murderers. And as Jimmy Peanuts collects his Nobel Prize, awarded with the caveat offered by Norwegian socialists, "It should be interpreted as a criticism," Nobel chairman Gunnar Berge explained that it is intended as "a kick in the leg to all who follow the same line as the United States" as concerns impending hostilities against Iraq.

And now a book is out that connects Carter, Hammer, and Soviet Communists, all working together to prevent Ronald Reagan from being elected. Sound familiar? And Carter and Clinton gave the Panama Canal to the Communist Chinese military.

Russia and China are understandable - they started their socialism in misery and abject poverty. Communism held out false hope -- what's our excuse? More entitlements? More feel-good guilt to accept suffering and replacing good with bad, wealth with poverty, family security with homosexual paranoia? Looks like the inmates have taken over the asylum! ***

If the left converted everyone to the left. Then we would have a communist state.
The left does not realize that their liberalism is communism and the right is what
    Keeps the left free.
