Hey FReoples! I'm too young for cataracts, but so is my sister so apparently it's a genetic condition. Went to the Ophthalmologist earlier today on a referral from my Optometrist who discovered them a month ago. Was expecting "Oh, yeah, but you can wait a few years" but got "Oh, the right eye is pretty bad, you should do this now". Yesterday I attempted to install the latest Windows Update, after my computer went rogue and started freezing, as it does every time I ignore the Update. It runs Vista because I've refused 8, 9 and 10. The Progress Bar spun at "Downloading" for over an hour. I got out and went looking for a solution. One that made sense was "Complete any other update then try again" so I did. The system was then stuck at "searching for updates" and would only last a few minutes before crashing. Hi FRiends. I started Geocaching this week; downloaded the app and bought a 3 month membership. Looked for 6 hides in the last few days and DNF any but I'm rather hooked! LOL. In Roanoke VA for another few weeks visiting, then back up to Yankee country. Anyone out shopping yesterday notice more transvestites than usual? In my local WalMart I counted 5 definitely and maybe 7 and no I didn't go into the bathroom. In a conversation on FB I remembered something I read a few years ago about the roots of Rap music, that particular individuals encouraged early Rappers to make Rap the only music of Blacks, and to spread anger. The idea was to cause upheaval because (I think) Blacks were no longer as angry or dissatisfied as TPTB thought they should, and the left was losing support among Blacks People were named. Just a reminder, GridEx II is happening on Wednesday into Thursday across the US, Canada and Mexico. Please pardon the vanity! I just got home from an Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment rally in Latham, NY. This one was to support the truckers effort. WHAT A BLAST!
