So...now what is he going to steel from Mr. Newt. Even Romney is taking some of Mr. Newt’s talking points. Second fiddle, will always be second fiddle.

Mr. Newt is the answer, as he has always been! I am with Mr. Newt until he becomes the nominee. Hopefully, America will open their eyes before it is too late! If not, Mr. Newt will win it in Tampa! OK...flame away!

    Excellent! I love the sign.

Christy is trying to dress up his resume for the VP slot that Romney will hand him. Nothing more. We are in real trouble if Romney takes the nomination prior to the Convention. The Convention is our only hope now! Santorum just stunk the nomination process up with his insistence that he is the only Conservative. He learned a great deal from Mr. Newt, but also left a great deal on the table that he did not learn. I cannot even watch him anymore. Can you imagine what 4 years of Santorum would be like? Can you imagine what 4 years of Romney would be like?

I can certainly imagine what 4 years of Mr. Newt would be like...major change and major reform and a massive heart attack for the establishment. Can't you just see those bozos in Washington doing the Washington two-step to keep Mr. Newt out? It would be sweet just watching them react to Mr. Newt getting the nod from WE THE PEOPLE and not from them. I can't wait! It must happen!

    Romney NO! Santorum NO!

Only answer: Mr. Newt and the Convention delegates!

Mr. Newt is still in this...don’t be fooled by Santorum. He has presented no concrete ideas as to reforming the massive mess in Washington. He was part of the downfall after Mr. Newt left.

Santorum in not the solution, but I appreciate him slowing Mitt down. The convention will be the nominating answer, and Santorum will not be the nominee.

Something stinks in this story. I get the feeling that Adelson is pulling some strings behind the scenes, for Gingrich or against him? I have a good eye for bulls$$t when I see it and this stinks to high heaven. Is Adelson on Gingrich’s side, or for his own best interests?

There is more to this story than meets the eye, I just don’t know what it is. The establishment and their boy Romney are really getting desperate. Just who are they trying to take out? Santorum or Newt? I feel there is a slight of hand going on here and I thought you all might have some answers.

Your negative thoughts are not appreciated! Moon base will be created by China, or Russia, or Iran...is that what you want? When Kennedy proposed going to the moon in the 60’s...they all laughed, even those in his own party. Where is your imagination? You obviously have no vision past tomorrow!

Mr. Newt was not proposing that we as taxpayers pay for it. He proposed offering prizes, put up by visionary thinkers, commercial companies, and others. You obviously only hear what you want to hear. You must be a Santorum or Romney or Paul supporter. So go away and get out of this thread!

DO NOT tell me Mr. Newt is through presenting his bold ideas for the future of this country. MR. NEWT all the way to Tampa!

I too will stand with Mr. Newt until the end. Additionally, I believe that even Romney's delegates would like to find a way out of even their first ballot vote. I also think Santorum will eventually crash and burn through his own ignorance and foot and mouth disease.

I did not realize Sarah made calls for him in Louisiana. That Sarah, she is quite a lady. If she won't give up on Mr. Newt, neither will I. I venture to believe that most of us here at FreeRepublic will also not give up on him.

I will donate again within a few days. I still think the investment is worth it, and pray the eyes of WE THE PEOPLE will be open to Mr. Newt when the time comes.

I watched Mr. Newt at the Pensylvania Leadership Conference and was, as I always am, completely dumbfounded as to why more people don't see was we here at FreeRepublic see. He has magnificent skills in putting out his bold ideas and at the same time confronting the big problems with common sense solutions.

I wish voters would vote their hearts, that is what the primary contests are for. Romney is so boring and Santorum is just not able to relate the right tone, as he seems angry all the time. Mr. Newt was accused of that angry tone, but I never once saw it. I still think Santorum will slip up one too many times, and supporters that are fearful of Romney will come over to Mr. Newt.

It won’t happen in the delegate count. It will happen at the Convention. Santorum is not ready to lead this nation and Romney can’t pull it together before the Convention. Neither have a National campaign to pull this nation together. If the Republican establishment thinks we are all going to roll over and support Romney, they are dead wrong. At some point, someone needs to tell Romney he has lost this nominee battle, but he has too much invested this time around to drop out. If Santorum drops out, I believe he will support Romney for the VP slot, as he was a traitor last time around, and I see no evidence that he would not do it again. Maybe, just maybe, he could be convinced to throw his support to Mr. Newt, but I would not hold my breath on that one. Santorum is an opportunist and will bale on conservatism and go with Romney for the VP slot.

Mr. Newt is too smart to choose Santorum as a VP running mate. Who could trust him? There are some evangelical conservatives that simply will not support Romney due to the Mormon religion. I know that no one wants to bring that up, but it is out there.

Mr. Newt is the only qualified Conservative to bring this country back from the brink of self-destruction.

Sarah has an opportunity to jump head first into this race by endorsing Mr. Newt. I believe if he somehow pulls this out of the dump and ends up the Nominee, he will name Sarah as his VP.

Please listen to the speech at Newt.org which he made at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference on Saturday. Here is the link: http://www.newt.org/2012/03/25/video-newt-addresses-the-pennsylvania-leadership-conference/

Howdy to all of you and may God bless each and every one of you. I now live in a small town of 500 in the middle of nowhere Kansas, where you can watch your dog run away for two weeks. If it were not for FreeRepublic, I would have gone crazy (or crazier) years ago.

Thank you, and I accept your apology. I too probably owe you an apology for my directness. I so strongly want Mr. Newt to be our nominee, that I get angry with those that do not see him for what he is, a true leader that can repeat the successes he had while speaker, and bring some sanity to this incredible situation our country has found herself in. The true sign of a man is one that can admit his mistakes, learn from them and become wiser. I feel Mr. Newt is deserving of respect for admitting his mistakes and the wisdom to put his entire life out in the public for scrutiny. How many of us would be willing to do the same thing? I believe he is unselfishly laying his reputation and dignity on the line for WE THE PEOPLE. Maybe that sounds a little corny doesn't it? What has happened to our society?

I think we all get passionate about our candidates from time to time. For the last year and a half we have all been told Romney is the only one who can beat Obama, so much so that those who follow the headlines are backing him out of a sense of foolishness. We here at FreeRepublic feel differently. I also think we all want the same thing, to take back the White House from a president who has set out to destroy our country. Obama is our true opponent. When the time comes to back our nominee, we will remember our first and foremost goal.

I only hope that that nominee is Mr. Newt. He is, however, the one that takes the fight directly to Obama and the bias media, and is the only one that Obama argues with through that media. I hope he does well in Louisiana despite what the media wants us to believe.
