Like other future graduates everywhere, she's savoring the special moments of her last year of high school. Among the highlights was to be her senior prom, where she'd enter the decorated gymnasium wearing a dress she designed herself, to reflect who she is. But instead of being greeted by her classmates Saturday as she walked in on the arm of her date, she was greeted outside the school by police officers and school officials — because of that choice in dresses....

<p>HUNTINGTON -- Saturday’s Rally for America, touted by organizers as a showing of support and thanks for troops in Operation Iraqi Freedom, is not what it seems on the surface, a student-based group at Marshall University said Monday.</p> <p>White Rose, which members say is dedicated to opposing unjust war, violations of civil liberties and infringements of human rights, will conduct a rally from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the plaza behind Marshall’s Memorial Student Center. The rally is in opposition to nationally syndicated radio talk show host Glenn Beck’s Rally for America, scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Stadium, White Rose founder Dave McGee said.</p>
